DiamondDan 2,386
Laudrup edged Gazza but nobody else in the last 40 years has been anywhere near their level. They 2 were in a league of their own. Others deserving of a mention, but not at the level of they 2 are Cooper, De Boers (were at their level just not by time Rangers got them) and Gough. Mate Cuellar went through a period where it was literally like watching a man play against 12 year olds. He was colossal. Really surprised he didn’t go to the very top because he was immense, I was gutted when he left. More so than anybody else we’ve sold on. Slightly below that level Butcher, Johnston, McCoist, Hateley, Trevor Steven, Albertz, Van Bronckhorst, Numan, Ferguson before he disappeared down south. MurrayWilson 3,499
Gazza at his absolute best had no equal, not even laudrup and thats saying something. Laudrup did it a lot more often though, he hardly had even had a mediocre game never mind a quiet one, until his last season. 32Blue, Polo and WWTC

BrotherTJ 172
Laudrup, then Davie Cooper - imagine if they'd played in the same era on either wing... Gazza was probably the most naturally gifted we ever had - but more often than not the body would turn up and the mind would be elsewhere. WWTC 2,250
McCoist doesnt get the recognition he deserves, his two goals that ultimately won him the golden boot summed him up, but they’re not as viewed as some of his others. But Gascoigne for me, without question. It was almost as if he went out every game with the mindset that people has paid to see him, and he very rarely disappointed. Will never forget his performance at Firhill. Was standing behind the goals in the old stadium and the pitch was horrific, yet he floated around the whole game. Literally 5 feet away from a World Class player who’s head was aa much in the stands with us as it was on the pitch. On his game, simply unplayable. The most naturally gifted footballer ive ever seen. MurrayWilson
shaka 1,721
In my lifetime it's got to be Laudrup. He's literally the reason I became interested in football and became a Rangers fan. Although as a defender I always had a soft spot for Amoruso. Laudrup1984

bluenoz 31,279
For a short period of time, I fucking loved Prso and Tugay. But best ever has to be our best ever goalscorer. McEwan's Lager 30,881
Best footballer: In my lifetime Laudrup is the only player that could have got in any other side in the world while playing for us. EMRFC 4,851
I mean probably someone from late 90s/early 00s but as far as me personally being able to watch games and understand what’s actually happening it’s probably someone like Cuellar, Davis, Jelavic, McGregor or even Tavernier. SANDYGER 149
Laudrup, everytime he had the ball you just knew something was going to happen. Absolute Rolls Royce of a footballer who was so far ahead of anybody in our league with the exception of Gazza of course. I can't recall him ever having a poor or average game Laudrup1984
