It’s brain dead

Not really. The filth have gone out and signed an entire new front line over the last 3 windows, most of who are in the £1-3m bracket and they’re tearing this league and our defence to bits.

Kent is an absolute busted flush domestically. His return is atrocious. Morelos the jury is out on in terms of attitude, and his return hasn’t been great for a number of years.

Big Calvin played as centre half for them at the weekend,  will be strange to play against him so soon after his move.

Hope he plays there again.

The thought of him at left back and rampaging by our non existent right wing/mid and getting one on one v Tav..  🙄

The filth front line has cost 18.3m for Furuhashi, Abada, Jota, Maeda and Giakoumakis against us 11.8m for Kent, Morelos, Colak, Sakala and Matondo.

You can fling Ajeti for them and Roofe for us but it’s clear they have spent more than us in the front line.

When added to the lack of investment by us in midfield, no great surprise why we are bit behind them currently.

Said quite a lot that I would like to see Kent dropped, but the fact is we don’t have anyone to put in that position to even drop him, never mind get rid of him.

Morelos when Gio first came in and before he got injured had completely turned his form around. Gerrards style of play was destroying him and just before he got injured his form had picked up again. Don’t know why people now peddle this myth that he still wasn’t in form

Sorry, I mean get rid of and replace. Not just bin him and put Sakala in there

Yup, agreed. Was in good form preinjury. Miles away from it now though.

Think we should have tried to move both on in the summer, but too late now. Be going for nothing in 9 months.

CTM flight now flying into Brussels instead of Amsterdam apparently. Another shambles from them 🤷🏻‍♂️

It's a fucking disgrace. The transfer from Brussels will take longer than the fucking flight. And CTM were kind enough to say it wouldn't affect the price! Cunts!

Ajeti was not signed in the last three windows and is nowhere near being part of their front line.

Why did you put in Sakala and not Wright? Also Roofe would be ahead of Sakala as well.

They've spent around £20.2m on their front line which cosists of those 5 you mentioned, Forrest and Haksabanovic

We have spent around £20.5m on those 5, Roofe, Hagi and Wright.

It’s convenient to leave out Lawrence and Tillman aswell. Obviously we have not actually bought Tillman yet but you can see his quality through the middle and both are already adding goals

I selected Sakala in as he was more of a recent signing than Wright, swap them over it’s about 300k.

Forrest would cost nothing, new guy that I am not spelling no idea.

Include Hagi but take out Morelos as he wasn’t signed in the last three windows.

It would probably be best looked at in the last three windows since they changed manager, my gut feel is they have spent more as Kent wouldn’t be included in that cycle either.

The thought of Wright and Kent on the wings gives me the boak.

Would rather have Wright than Kent. At least Wright beats his man. Kent does the usual step-over, then 9 times out of 10, he will get the ball tangled up and mis-control it, then lose it.

He was as culpable as anyone for their first goal. A child gets taught not to dribble out from defence. Kent was in RB position, but still had a wingers mentality.

Be glad when he's gone. Him and Morelos. Both be lucky to get a mid-level Championship team after this, even as free transfers.
