Matondo’s stats are probably still better than Kent’s tbf.

I’d have expected to see more of Ridvan, even in the last 20 mins of games. We’re not seeing him in training every day though 👍

Thought it was nearer 7m plus add-ons for carter Vickers, and they've also brought in a young left back for a similar fee to Yilmaz, and he doesn't play.

They had them on trial basically for a year before buying, same as us with Tillman and Sands,although we haven’t bought Ridvan and Davies without scouting,injuries /personal issues or needing time to settle comes into play.

I understand that argument in certain situations, but I don’t think it applies in this situation.

You can allow somebody like Bassey, who was a cheap punt from an academy, time to develop, but when you are spending relatively big money on players people are right to expect a return on that investment and to see those players performing fairly quickly.

4-5 million, even 3 million, might be fuck all in the grand scheme of things in the modern game, but it’s still a decent wedge of money to us.

I get your point about the risk free punt on bassey. An yeah for us 4-5 million is alot of money. That been said these boys have at club a short time, for a team that demands winning 90% of time…

An lets be fair anyone we take a punt on is a risk, we have to look for potential or get players from the championship for inflated english market prices.
