holdnudgehold 58 Posted January 17, 2023 Share Posted January 17, 2023 Fair enough if this is just man management to see us through for a bit, but if he's genuinely happy with the level of our goalkeepers 1 2 and 3 then that is deeply worrying to say the least. Saying best in the country and the other 2 being close is just opening us up to unnecessary ridicule. If you look at our in game stats how often do you see something like shots against 2, on target 1, goals 1? It feels like pretty much every game. He wants to sign players that are good enough to be starting, not have 11 that are good enough to start then a lot of backups. We need a squad of 15-16 starters which can be rotated. There’s a reason that in his prime he left us for Besiktas, and then played for Hull and Cardiff and never get a move to better than Premier League relegation battlers.
