Good to see Raskin back in the squad and hopefully we can get a nice lead early and get to see a good bit of Silva.

Got to admit I am a bit surprised there are no changes in that front 4. Dessers I almost grudgingly understand as there isn’t really anyone else but thought all 4 were poor in the OF and was expecting Clement to maybe swap one or two around to freshen it up with Wright or Matondo coming in for Sima or McAusland and maybe Dowell playing one further forward and dropping Cantwell rather than Sterling.

This sounds like wild exaggerated hyperbole, but I cannot stress enough how much I truly believe this, literally any other player in the entire squad would be a better option than Dessers up front.

This guy has one leg and is better than Dessers.

Because after Saturdays performance Cantwell/Dessers especially should've been benched for anybody else, 2 shocking performances

Starting with the same forward 4  again in general is terrible, no saying we've got world beaters on the bench but if that performance doesn't get you dropped nothing will

So who would your front 4 have been today?

McCausland (no other option)

Dowell

Matondo

Silva

Can't have been any worse, Dowell has done well, Matondo is gonna have to replace Sima after today and an unfit Silva has got to offer more than Dessers atm

Agreed.

Better off sticking someone like Matondo up front who can at least move.

Nah, it's just bollocks.

Vital to get 3 points to keep pressure on septic.

Who have a tricky match after us today.

We must win our games in hand and stay close to them.

That's 2 old firm games we have lost by a goal,  both with highly controversial var decisions going against us.

Remember the ref gave a goal for us  at Ibrox only for him to change his mind after viewing tv footage.

Strangely at porkheid,  ref never saw handball incident but was alerted of var check presumably by willie collum?

It seemed strange that collum then decided it wasn't handball without getting Walsh to check tv evidence.

The belated "offside" footage was quite simply a cover story to try to justify that decision.

As clearly a deliberate handball did take place, despite some commentators saying remarkably it was accidental!!!!!!.

They bottled it, would giving Rangers a penalty and potentially sending off the culprit in front of 60k home fans be more than a likely explanation of the situation

So you’re starting 2 players that are starting anyway!

How? Not much difference to the team that won at Betis won a cup final and lost just once in Clements opening 17 games.

What team and changes were you expecting?

Saturday was disappointing but let’s not pretend what’s happened within the last month, like cutting the gap right down didn’t happen with this current set of players.

Exactly.

With the players available what are folk really expecting.

Harsh on Sterling

One of the few positives throughout this injury crisis has been the adaptability and attitude of this player. Agree harsh he’s not in the side. As for the rest of the squad. If your fit you play - that is pretty much how the squad is picking itself now. Very little alternative unfortunately.

It is harsh on Sterling but its Killie so we need more forward thinking players in the middle which meant either him or Lundstram being dropped.

Fucking Dessers though...

Hopefully his final appearance in a Rangers shirt.

Spot on.

Don’t know what’s gone on with Scott Wright, but after being flavour of the hour at the league cup semi, he must be pissed off at not getting a start.

Even Wright, who’d give some directness & speed through the middle.

Not as though Dessers’ hold up play is that great we’d miss it.

Because like a lot of our squad he plays well for one game then offers nothing for months.
