Calling Decisions Out

Diomande has dangled his leg. It’s soft, but I’d be raging if we didn’t get that.

100%. People saying he kicked Diomande, well yeah, that's what normally happens when you dangle a leg and trip someone. They kick your leg and fall over it.

Bottom line it was another crap bit of play.

Here we go... you do this every time.

It's not a penalty ffs. Even VAR didn't think so.

We should of had a penalty today and a red card for Johnson at around the 19 minute mark.

It's looks like a bad miss from Silva but Johnson clearly pulls him as he heads the ball.

You can get away with a little bit of shirt pulling usually but if you're pulling someone's shirt as they head the ball it's a clear penalty.

An obvious goal scoring opportunity too, did VAR look at it?

They did and it was never a penalty.

It's a clear penalty. If he let's his shirt go before he heads the ball then it's debatable.

But he's still pulling his shirt as he head the ball, it's a penalty.

It's much harder to place a header is someone's pulling your shirt.

It's a shite challenge by a fucking shite player that shouldn't have been near the team. Raskin must be fuming watching that useless lump get selected ahead of him week in/week out.

If Raskin’s got a brain in his head, he’ll be thinking it might be an idea to get his finger out and earn a place in the starting 11. Something he hasn’t done this season.

This previous theatrics may have gone against him here.

The defender is caught wrong side, in desperation pulls him as he's about to head the ball.

It's a clear penalty.

Im rewatching the game just now. Its never a penalty, he shites it and if he just stands up its a goal. Its amazing he got 75mins before getting the hook. From 50mins onward he doesnt track back, doesnt press, runs down channels to get blocked off. Then hes rubbing some cunts foot because they have cramp.  Unreal

Hes dugshite and the fact hes ended up in scoftish football reinforces that point.

He's clearly pulled back. That's what stops him getting better contact with his header.

Did you watch the BBC highlights? They only showed it from a distance making it difficult to see.

But yesterday i watched it zoomed in. Johnson clearly pulls him as he's caught wrong side.

It's a penalty and a red card.

VAR must of seen this.

Watch it back again.

Lawrence and Tavernier both immediately appeal for a penalty.

They both have excellent views of it and instantaneous appeal for a penalty.

Silva doesn't dive about theatrically like he has done before but immediately appeals for penalty.

Willie Collums looking right at it, he must of seen it.

In fact Dessers too claims for it, he makes the gesture of pulling his shirt to the referee.

This is the same referee that didn't see Johnson handball in the last game here against Sima even with a fuckin TV screen and replays.

Having read all the comments on here about Silva and Johnston I've just watched the incident again and Johnston definitely pulls Silva as he goes for the header.

Yip. It's a foul.

If your trying to place a header when someone is pulling you its easy to miss.

It's a clear foul. Look at the reaction from the Rangers players in the box.

Tav, Dessers. Lawrence all see it and instantaneous claim for it.

Silva looks bemused it's not given.

Collum has the perfect view, he knows it's a red card too.

We need to call this out.

Clement should be highlighting this in his next press conference, followed by interviews by Tav, Lawrence and Dessers saying the don't understand why it wasn't given.

We should demand an explanation from the SFA.

Did Collum see it and decided its ok to pull someone in that position? Or did he not see it?

Why did VAR not intervene?

This is a game changing decision.

Because it's both a penalty and a red card.

Let call it what it is. Cheating.

I agree that we need to call decisions out and stop meekly accepting these calls against us.

The issues I have though are that other teams also get obviously wrong decisions given against them, and whenever we speak publicly about these wrong calls / referees we are treated with contempt by the SFA / SPFL.

There needs to be some sort of reform in the way referees are both trained and held to account for their decisions, as millions, or at least hundreds of thousands of pounds are potentially at stake for clubs.

We should be persistently questioning why decisions are given / not given and why clearly partisan referees are given the biggest games on the calendar.
