If he doesn't and its only another attacker encroaching then it's no retake, it's an indirect free kick against. If players from both teams encroach then I'm sure it should be a retake. The pic posted above suggests it should have been a retake as their player is more advanced than Wright. Taking away the reason for stopping the game due to 'apparent' head knock to hibs player in second half, he actually correctly gave the drop ball to hibs goalkeeper. The drop ball he gave to hibs in first half, should have been retaken since the ball was played by the hibs player before the ball hit the ground.
