Not quite at the stage of wanting Clement out yet (results over the next couple of weeks could change that), but Aberdeen’s start under Thelin really doesn’t reflect well on him.

Aberdeen changed their manager, had a massive turnover of players during the summer after finishing near the bottom of the table last season, then they begin this season by winning their first seven games (and generally playing well doing it), after that they go to Celtic Park and get a result having been thumped there for years. In literally his first game against Celtic, Thelin has already equalled our manager’s record against them (and did it at their ground).

Meanwhile, Clement has been here for over a year now, has lost every OF game bar one (and that was due to a last-minute worldie), and went to their ground less than a couple of months ago and lost 3-0 going on 5 or 6. That’s not even mentioning that we’re rubbish to watch generally.

The worry is that all of this stuff about a “rebuild taking time” is just an excuse for an underperforming manager who isn’t getting the best out of this squad.

Aberdeen's squad last season hugely underperformed with some wild appointments(Warnock).

Aberdeen have started well but they could easily fall away after Christmas and finish outside the top 6 too. They're also helped by pretty much no other SPL team generally being up to par this season.

The biggest factor for me watching us under Clement is our complete lack of intensity. Every game looks like a training game with no press. We don't have the quality to build up slowly so need to do the hard yards with more effort.
