King Jela 21,895 Posted Friday at 10:56 Share Posted Friday at 10:56 It was the best we've played this season and a very convincing win. The manager deserves credit for it. BlueKnight87, Negri's lovechild, bluenoz and 1 other

Seems a fanny, but it’s domestically PC really needs judged on and I agree with him that last night is just papering over cracks. Needs to go on a run of wins domestically to have any chance of turning the tide.

Of course he does FCSB had won their two previous EL games and PC should get the credit for it . The thing is though , along with Malmo and at a push Ross County , it's only our decent performances in 20 odd games this season . He needs to turn that around to get my backing now . I'm wondering if , like LeGuen , European football suits him more than the domestic game which is no good to us . It's why I'm an advocate of having a Scottish manager next time should he be replaced. The Ibrox Derry

Just ruthless with the chances we had and a lot more aggressive in midfield, which isn't a bad thing, but our general play was poor. I thought we improved the second half but it was frustrating the amount of loose passes we were making . Basic errors . Big improvement in effort though . Probably a good manager in an environment where games are more tactical, and a bit more open, but can’t dumb that down and apply it to the SPFL in a way that’s effective. Yeah , Scottish football just seems to be a different animal where it's more about blood and thunder rather than technique. I think it catches both players and managers out that come here . J-Maestro 14,194 Posted Friday at 12:01 Share Posted Friday at 12:01 He deserves full credit for the way he set the side out and the performance, it is daft to act otherwise. That doesn’t mean it’s some false dawn or that he’s going to conquer the SPL either.
bluenoz 32,871 Posted Friday at 12:10 Share Posted Friday at 12:10 If he sticks with Balogun, the duo of Barron & Raskin, and starts Igamane up front, then he deserves credit for last night's good performance. if he goes back to Propper, Diomande and Dessers, then he learned nothing. Laudrupsleftfoot 12,537 Posted Friday at 12:11 Share Posted Friday at 12:11 I enjoyed watching us last night. That said the football was only decent for very small spells. We looked incredibly open at times and a better team would have picked us off. Clement’s approach is a bit too reliant on individual players producing a moment of quality rather than clear phases of a game where as a team we create good opportunities. Has to be sitting here after Wednesday with two more wins. gmcf and AGM_72

They also lack fight which is something I don't think they're used to in their homeland. The filth have had more than their fair share of expensive failures too, but when you throw enough money at it , it will eventually succeed. I still believe most continental players struggle with the lack of time you get on the ball here , as well as the physicality, and some of them just don't adapt.
