Gutted for the young mob. I'd even take a Sone Aluko at this point.

Absolutely, mate. Aluko would be a clear stand-out in this side. To be honest, even fucking Josh Windass would be an improvement on what we saw tonight.

No it's not.

Of course it is.

We're on track to lose the league for the 3rd year in a row and give celtic a free run at the champions league.

If we don't get our shit together this season it creates an even bigger gap.

This is fucking embarrassing.

Slight improvement in the second half but really struggling for positives.  Barron and Rice looked decent in midfield together and Nsiala looked better in the second half is the best I can do.

Nsiala's first ever first team game

We should probably just build our team around them. Nsiala is raw and was kind of thrown into todays game. Im sure he will only improve.

So in summary…

Our defence is weak - poor errors and positioning

Our midfield is weak - poor physicality, confidence, passing ability

Our forwards are weak - can’t beat a man or finish

splendid.

Feel sorry for anyone who paid to watch that gash

Im sure folk will have had a decent wee day out and I always enjoy going away with my mates but a performance like that puts a damp squib on the whole thing for me. I get the whole it's only pre-season but the season is round the corner and we don't look great.
