Obvious difference to the others he compares to is he chose Ireland over Scotland, the others played for another country because Scotland didn't want them.

I get that they are glad we lost. I would hope for the same if the shoe was on the other foot (not that that would be remotely possible). 
I can't understand the boasting though. Twitter is full of them like hahahah you lost a European final. Like they don't get how daft that sounds from them. A European Final.
I said it before, I'd swap any league title (bar a select few, 55 for example) for a stab at a major European final. 
And still no one cares that they won the league this year. Us losing a match is bigger than them winning the title.

Tav was always clearly one out of Warburton’s team that held a resilience (and talent) far above the rest - but it wasn’t a given that he’d definitely advance.
That guy has worked himself into the ground and taken arguably more scrutiny than any Rangers captain in the history of the club. It speaks volumes about the man.
He’s a Rangers great.
