Both players in the box at a penalty is a retake. It's inexcusable that this doesn't happen. If that game finishes 0-0 today and we're denied a retake its season changing.

I don’t see why some of our fans need someone to blame. I’m not gonna blame anyone for that tonight. We got beat by 1 goal over two legs by a decent European team whilst we have a depleted squad. A win tonight would have been tremendous but unfortunately it wasn’t to be. We’re top of the league, in the cup semi finals and have the league cup already under our belts. I’d have give my left bollock to be in this position back in September. Tonight was a step too far but the treble is definitely on.

i said before last week that the league is far more important, european football is / was a distraction but tonight i so wanted to be in the next round and fighting all fronts, i'm gutted it didn't happen but at the same time i'm happy we're out so now we can now have our eyes on the league.

Convinced we have a bunch of tarriers on here... how anyone can be blaming the manager for the loss over two legs is beyond mental.... That was fucking Benfica ,... their budget dwarfs ours.... we gave a real good account of ourselves and a couple of breaks we could have gone through this tie. PC is a miracle worker with some of the players he has had to work with ....

When Clement came in we looked like going out of the Europa League groups, a few months later and we fell hard done by getting put out by Benfica.

Played really well and got put out by a European giant.  Absolutely astounding that Clement managed to get here with this group of players seeing how we started the season.  
We put on a great performance and didnt get embarassed and now all we have to focus on is the league and the cup.  I'm fine with that lets fucking go Rangers.

Thought we were dead on our feet after 60 minutes . Benfica are a good team and there wasn't much in it .

Looking at our penalty again, if Lundstrum didn’t follow up and score, would there have been a case for a penalty retake?  Marshall looks to be off his line when Tav makes contact with the ball.

Sellick is a club open to everyone, the only reason Abada's getting it tight is football reasons. He's not been playing well or motivated to play for some unfathomable personal/family reasons. 
The world is just anti-sellicks to the extent that they've started a war in the Middle East to unsettle one of their players. The club and all their tolerant fans are the good guys in this and are world renowned for their inclusivity. It's no easy when everybody's got it in for you.

If we have another game with 33 shots and 23 of them on target I'd be susprised if we didn't score 7 or 8.
On last nights evidence not being clinical enough isn't an issue.
Not being clinical is an issue when you on have 5 or 6 shots with about half of them on target. That's when you have to make sure every shot is a goal or a world class save.

Excellent 3 pts. We have a lot of improving to do though. Good job celtic are poor. We need a few better players all over the park. Sterlings tackle was stupid and invited a red. Cantwell has started to score goals. Could be the difference. Fingers crossed.
