  1. Point in the game today when he just managed the situation really well, something we haven’t done very well in recent games against them. A ball went out for a throw/corner can’t remember and it bounced off the advertising straight towards one of their players. To stop them from playing quickly while he was out of position, he made a b line for the ball and kicked it away giving him time to get in and get set.

Kind of stuff we haven’t been great at of late in these big games. Overall, thought he was excellent again today.

Did you watch the game? We were all over them in the second half.

    Negativity for no reason.

Mate some of the comments are actually laughable. People spouting shite like get rid of all the coaches and bring everyone new in, second best in every department.

I’ve been lucky enough to spend some time at the training centre and see what they do that goes in there and at Boclair. I can also promise you where celtic academy use over at Barrowfield is an embarrassment. They have a decent facility at Lennoxtown but it’s 23s up and even then it’s not a patch on our training centre.

People have short memories as well it’s not like we’ve had a fantastic history in the past 20 years of bringing loads and loads of players through the academy to the first team. One of the biggest problems that we are faced with is the genetic makeup of boys in Scotland. Cities and clubs in other parts of the UK are developing players as well as athletes due to the social melting pot and diverse ethnicities that come with that, Scotland hasn’t really benefited from that yet. Funnily enough, Zeb and  the coaches had mentioned that Aberdeen are really benefitting from that kind of diversity due to the different nationalities that are working up there in the oil industry.

Certainly food for thought but the whole throw the baby out with the bathwater shite from posters is comical.

Rangers need to address this shite before it costs us something by VAR or referees shiteing themselves from giving us big decision incase it causes controversy.

yesterday was a stone wall penalty, hand bigger than the body, it it’s hit it. Penalty.  End of.

yesterday was a stone wall red card, he goes in high studs showing and catches him could have been nasty.  End of.

The Ryan Jack tackle, i honestly wouldn’t have too much complaints if he was sent off for that, but at the same time I know why he wasn’t.  It was low and not high like the the St Johnstone player.

every story since is full off it being a day of controversy.  It wasn’t, it was a day of correct decisions, but no surprises considering our media is full of Rangers haters and tarriers.

We’ve had plenty of decisions go in our favour since the introduction of VAR

  4. We have so many players whose form is so erratic. They can be superb and then be utterly shambolic in the next game. Right now I’d put McGregor, Lundstram, Jack, Kent, Morelos (not been at his best for a while) all in that category. We need far more consistency particularly from our spine.

To make this worse we have players like Wright, Matondo and Sands who we never see positive performances from because they’re not good enough. As has been mentioned the next two windows are so important.

It didn't quite happen for Lowry tonight, but what pleases me is that he's looking to try these flicks and through balls. Too many of our midfielders are happy to take the ball, turn and lay it off backwards. We need to up the tempo and get up the park quicker at times, before the opposition has the chance th regroup. I definitely think there's a player in there and hope that we'll see him emerge as his career progresses.

    This.

please don’t think I’m comparing them before some numpty jumps on it but I love watching Bruno Fernandes because his mentality to open up defences is special. He’ll keep trying to open doors and spray effective passes that will unlock defences even if he keeps giving the ball away and I think Lowry has a similar mindset. He wants to create all the time and finding players like that is really hard to come by, so much easier to destroy than it is to create.

  6. The boy can fucking play and I look forward to seeing him grow in confidence under Beale. He never hides, ever. Considering he’s out of contract at the end of season he could have completely downed tools in the same way Morelos has but fair play to the boy for continuing to show up and trying to make it happen. It’s not easy being that kind of player so much harder to create than it is to destroy.

Given our injury issues this season it’s not surprising Beale is trying to be sensible bringing players back into the starting 11 following injury.

I can understand him not wanting to start tonight’s game with a CB pairing both returning from injury and who are both not yet match fit.

I take your point mate but not going to get match fitness sitting on the bench. Davies came on against Hibs so if he’s fit enough to be on the bench then he’s OK to play for me and he would have had another few days training under his belt since that game. We really need to ramp up the quality in the starting eleven where we can and that’s an easy one for me. 1 clean sheet in past 8 games.

Honestly don't think Davies is going to be reliable fitness wise.

Could be right mate, but if he’s on the bench and we are playing with Lundstram at CB v hibs and then Sands again tonight. The pairing right now should be Davies and Goldson while both are fit.
