Playing passing triangles between the two centre halves and the goalkeeper? What the fuck! Only we could be in a position to get the ball into the packed box but within three passes it’s back to our goalie and out for opposition throw.

Hopefully Goldson has his cross field passing boots on tonight. They struggle down the flanks with the long ball then players finding space in the box. I seen parts of their Euro games and every single team punished them in this way.
Our midfield three need to take control early on and frustrate the home support, will leave us plenty of opportunity to hit the flanks with space on the break. Confident we will see a better performance from recent ones. This will be the first game since December that we don’t need to break down 10 men behind the ball.
 
In saying that I would quite happily see us park the bus in the 1st half and frustrate them. Our ball retention has been excellent and barring Saturday our defence has been good. No opposition wants to go in at HT with 60% possession against them, score at 0-0 and the crowd on their back

Build up play is so laboured. It gives even more time for an organised team to push back and tighten up and narrow the pitch down. We do this every time we are chasing a game, it is infuriating. We should be getting up the pitch within 3/4 passes not constantly across the back line. Two mistakes already and almost a third by Goldson at the end.
Roofe on for Itten and put their defence under a bit of pressure

There will be crowds come March for the Scotland play off guaranteed 

Very unlikely to see crowds for the rest of the season imo. Football is the easiest one to shut down.
Packed calendar going into mid June with internationals, pending winter World Cup as well. The sensible move would actually be to scrap the break altogether never mind bringing it forward.

If he wants to be nearer family it’s fair enough, it’s the only reason I can see him taking that job. Would have been better offers on the table if he delivered the title again with us.
he’ll win nothing (not even the Championship) for the rest of his managerial career. Relegation scrap vs managing in the Champions League surely a no brainer? The type of character he is I still recon he will see us through till the summer. Hope he stays and finishes the job.

Kent still to come back and we will have a cracking battle for starting places that will only drive the team on.

Such sad news you can see how respected the gaffer was when you read the tributes coming from all across the globe. The tributes reflect what a great family man he was and feel for his family.
He gave his all to the club and said it all when he gave up the Scotland job to come back and help us out. To win trophies in that period and get us to the Eufa cup final (with one hand tied behind his back financially) shows why he is our greatest manager ever. In fact he is and always will be Mr Rangers.

Is he our most underrated player?
Another fantastic display today. Kamara and Davis get all the plaudits and rightly so but Aribo really is the complete midfielder.
The way he he actually tackles and wins the ball time and time again from the opposition which actually doesn’t get enough credit plus his skill and ability on the ball and his strength and forward play.
He doesn’t score enough but he still chips in now and again.
I really think he is an outstanding player who doesn’t get the praise he deserves.
 

Dug that one out minus a lot of key players (Jack included) and have put the pressure back in them again. Well done big Balogoun that was a cracking performance throughout 👏🏻
