One guy near me had his watch nicked when we were being held back by the police, but the guy that did it was seen and he got it back.
Disgraceful that bears were doing that to others in that situation.

Still got 20 hours flying ahead of me plus a 4 hour layover in Doha. Jealous of those back home already.
Me and 2 other bears from Sydney (dad and his son) had to actually run to make our connection in Barcelona just now without boarding passes. Made it by about 5 minutes. Need a kip after that sprint 😂

At least one german media picked this shit show up. Maybe interesting for you too.. So in our section it was exectly the same situation. Only difference I guess.. We are not that crazy party and drinking beasts like you.. So maybe the maiorety of us were in a bit better shape when the game startet. https://www.kicker.de/die-wassersituation-war-unter-aller-sau-902813/artikel
Not that it's any excuse for the conditions as they were criminal but this was a noticeable difference
Our fans were 90% drunk or had been drinking heavily plus looked worse for wear, most of the EF fans around me looked fresh as a daisy. I know I was certainly in the former rather than the latter.
Other than 2 total banger fat EF blokes who got booted out the stadium by the police for trying to start on a young bear and the old boy next to me.

8. The disproportionate kettling of Rangers fans (yes, just us) before the game meant that thousands of us were dehydrated and exhausted before even stepping foot inside the stadium. I pride myself on being on my feet for big games but my legs were jelly after that and they never recovered.
The kettling was ridiculous. Thank fuck I found shade for the last part, would have passed out if I was in the sun for that. Idiotic policing.

Second tier neutral zone genuinely felt unsafe at times. Had some mad German bastards in my row, which was first row of the top tier and they were goading a few bears for a square go, ripped out seats the lot. Everyone hot and angry with no water, was a disaster waiting to happen.
Police took them both away eventually but the tier was quite steep and could easily see someone going head first over the railing in a fight, and 20 metres to their death in that first row.
Saw a Frankfurt supporter take a dive over the railing in the bottom tier in their end at their goal and the paramedics took him off on a stretcher, didn't look good.
As someone else said, was third world country conditions.

Sorry to hear about your Dad struggling in the heat.
re the lack of water, unless Germans are some weird human/camel hybrid they had the exact same lack of water yet it didn’t stop them from jumping around, singing and waving flags. From afar, the difference between the two sets of fans was like night and day.
Hardly saw many Germans drinking from 10am in the 35 degree heat though. Maybe I was in the wrong spots to see them (likely) or maybe they are camels or maybe they were saving themselves up for the game.
On the walk to the ground the fans were in fine voice but I reckon everyone hit the brick wall

The water situation was fucking insane. Lining up at HT to get a drink in the neutral zone I thought it was going to kick off as you had big mad German cunts going ballistic at the staff about no water and then bears in the same line firing up at the situation too. Felt like it was a few frustrated pushes away from a fight between fans... over fucking availability of water. Negligent on behalf of the officials.

I'm at the Alameda de Hércules, been here for about 4 hours now and it's bouncing but this sun is insane man. I'm off to go have a cold shower and a lie down so I can make it through the day.

I don’t know if the Germans are in a different part of town but there’s definitely not more of them than us where I’ve been, it’s not even close.

Got 4 hours to kill on layover in Madrid 😫😫

I arranged for a chauffeur driver to collect me from Seville airport and drive to hotel, prepaid, EUR40, thought that was a fair deal after 30 hours of flying. On the in-flight WiFi right now and get an email from them cancelling it but offering to rebook for EUR185
Thieving bastards. I'll chance my luck in the taxi queue.

Sitting on Doha with 4 hour layover looking at pictures and videos I took. A took one of the scoreboard and a short video a few minutes after we scored with the bears bouncing. I swear man I am about to greet in the airport, probably the best 12 minutes in nearly 40 years of following Rangers until they equalised. I thought we were actually going to do it.
