Giving them a man down advantage is a bit brave. Put Sima up front and Matondo on the left and we'll agree.

I love his willingness to come inside and just run at goal rather than heading to the touchline but he does need to mix it up a bit.
Saw someone compared him to Neil McCann which I find strange given McCann would get to the touchline and whip in very good crosses.

Thought he was thrown about like an empty jersey for the first half, but then that assist in the second half was brilliant.

Cantwell can't be trusted right now. He's not playing like a team player. Lawrence hasn't impressed either since coming back from injury. He's been fit for ages now so should be doing better when he hmgets his chance. While we're at it there are no real alternatives to Cifuentes in the middle of the park either.
I think McCausland will definitely receive more game time in upcoming games. Clement said something about not wanting to throw him in from the start last night but with his performance (not just the goal) and desire to win the ball back any time he lost it he will have earned the manager's trust.
The squad is in a sorry state TBH and the sooner the transfer window opens up the better.

Clement is not responsible for Cantwell’s application, or as was the case last night, his lack of application.
The team and the role you are being asked to play for the team has to come first and any respectable Rangers manager would have done the same thing that Clement did, and probably a whole lot more considering his reaction, if they had a player who effectively petted his lip and decided to saunter about and treat last night like a training game because he’s been asked to play a slightly different role and he doesn’t want to do it.
It’s not the attitude expected from Rangers players and I think it’s mental that there are so many people defending him tbh.
