He certainly does, but his job is far from easy of course.
God knows all that is affecting our form at the minute.
Some players not fit maybe? Some players wanting to leave? The tried and proven tactics/system no longer working? Some not up for the fight? Who knows.
There does appear to be a nervousness about our play. Not many looking to take responsibility. Too many giving the ball away cheaply and so on. None of it clicking. Barisic a bag of nerves. Nothing working for Tav and too many defensive errors. The opposite of last season. Doubt its any one thing.
I would hazard to guess Steven already knows the issues, but struggling with the hard decisions in trying to get the balance right under the many issues that may prevail. Not easy.
Time for strong leadership in the face of adversity. I think our backroom are the equal of any out there and more. As disappointing as last night was, it should also steer Steven towards solutions. Of course patience is not a virtue when it comes to fans, but patient we will need to be.
Our next big and most important hurdle comes with the scum at Ibrox. I think the LC and EL will take care of themselves. We take the scum and I can see our season back on track to retain this title and I'm sure Steven will have us prepared accordingly. The lessons are all there to be learned and I'm confident he will have.

Imagine we had done something really crazy like asked Alfie to just take a week off and then another couple of weeks in Jan. Mental idea.

Glad the victims and their families have been given this platform to demand some long overdue recognition.

That was the game against Vojvodina and as I said we played with no recognized forward.
I think you're confusing it with this game, which was a home tie.
The East Germans were denied visas to travel to Britain for the return, so the game was moved to the Swedish city of Malmo.
As well the obvious footballing disadvantage, this was something of a financial blow for Rangers. European football then,
as now, was a money spinner and a home tie with a capacity 80,000 crowd could have pulled in £20,000 . Against Vorwärts,
two overseas trips meant the club lost £6,000 from the tie, a fair amount in those days.
