Can we please go back to bringing in Davies to try and salvage something from this season, even if its just a bit of pride.
Souttar is leaving openings in almost every fucking game that are getting punished.
Davies is rotten too, but not to the extent that we are directly losing goals every fucking match.
Time for Souttar to be heading to the bench for a while and has to earn his place back in the team.

The only thing I can kinda say to defend him is that its probably unfair that he has a thread all to himself to slag him off, where as Danilo who has shown absolutely fuck all so far is avoiding scrutiny.
I got pelters for suggesting we should have went for Shankland in the summer mostly due to the scottish quota thing. I would have expected him to be a squad filler, but to be honest, I would probably have him leading the line over what I have seen from Danilo and Dessers so far.

Any player coming here from outwith scotland that's in a decent league (and not the arse end of a country's football tier) will need a decent wedge to come here
PSV can sign players on lesser wages than we do because holland is a better place to be in, better league to play in, is much more respected by international managers and has proven to be a successful pathway to top leagues for players
We can go on about how we are a big club, big history, the name Rangers is known across the world, but unless you are a fan, absolutely no player gives a fuck about that when they know its scotland they'll be playing in and staying in
Anothee example 2 players, totally identical in ability and position, literallt exactly the same player
We go for one and PSV go for the other, bet you a fiver it costs us more wages to convince our guy to sign for us than PSV have to fork out

To be fair, it was a shite game for us, but I think it was kinda tight for long spells.
I think our game plan was to keep it close then have a go in the last 20 mins or so and try knick it or take it to extra time. 
Before the second goal, they were not really creating very many clear cut chances. They were all over us, but they were not littering the goal one brilliant save from Butland asside.
Once they got the second goal, we had to open up and try to get back into it and this is when they picked us apart.
It was unacceptable, but if we had just held onto that fucking 2-1 score line for a few minutes, things could have worked out a bit different.

I mentioned this in another thread, but I watched the game back and we were quite good. Its just cohesion in the last third that is missing. Had some of the things came off for our attackers then we would have absolutely destroyed Servette. We were quite aggressive and direct a lot of the time. Watching the game back not worrying about the result means you watch it differently, I find. The stress of having to win and not scoring often makes you notice everything that doesnt come off and instantly think everything is shite.

Genuinely think folk thought we could just replace 8 or 9 players, stick them into the side and just steam roll teams like they have been playing together for years.

Tav and barasic have both peaked and are on the way down now. Particularly our style of play, you can't expect two guys year in year out to be carrying the weight of almost the entirety of the wing play. They're running out of gas.

They wont be able to compete in the big Euro competitions like the CL and EL (unless Uefa get even more corrupt).
I have no idea what their fan bases are like, but I imagine it will be utterly shite atmosphere wise.
I think it will soon pretty much just revert to being a place for a final payday for some washed up stars once they discover there is little interest in the league. 

True. Outside us and the scum I don't think the quality of our game has ever been this bad. Nobody outside Scotland is remotely interested in our game barring the odd old firm derby.

Dress it up whatever way you want with his stats etc but Sakala is fucking garbage and should be nowhere near the team if we want to win the league end of. If we get any sort of money for him we should be wearing a highway robber’s’ mask.

All the players we've signed or are targeting, answer honestly .. did you know anything about them?
You read loads of opinion about how "he's shite" or "he's going to be brilliant for us" and my own honest answer is I've never heard of one of them.
I watch Rangers play, I watch EPL football and that's about it.
I absolutely listen to various pods and read articles that'll do deep dives on the player but they'll, ultimately, give their own opinion on whether the player will be good or bad.
EVERY signing we make has a risk to it, even good players can find our jersey to heavy to wear & all we can do is trust in the manager & his staff to have identified correctly, certainly any mistakes made will need to be owned by Beale as this is clearly his rebuild.
