It’s a short term measure to solve what is (hopefully for the boy) a short term problem. We might not have the budget to go and sign another starting 11 CB on top of what we have already spent/plan on spending

Birmingham was his first club. And pretty sure those Barnsley, Leeds and Derby loans were before he became a Stoke regular. 

I thought the young lad Leighton Clarkson looked good who was on loan from Liverpool to sheep shaggers. There's talk of him going back there as well. 

Eh the stats do show reduced availability, 1st season he was involved in 42 games, then 36 and then 32. He may also have been on the bench due to niggles.

I’d still take a punt on Clarkson though. Tidy young versatile player with good potential. Knows the league etc. would be good cover for the midfield next season

It's mental to think that folk are happy to accept anything for Sakala to get rid of him, yet his stats are very similar to Tillmans and folk are happy to spend £5 million. 
Sakala is a great option to have and to contribute the way he has I'd be keeping unless someone offers us a good price. He's not a guaranteed starter but he's effective in this league on reasonable wages I'd assume. 

Also scores against then and causes them problems, Tillman not so much.
There's no real profit to made on him either.

Tillmans a decent player but vastly overrated by most supporters. Sakalas done well and shows up against them.

I'll compare all I want, it's ridiculous the hate Sakala gets for someone that contributes as much as he does. Typically the same people who said Kent wasn't producing enough are the ones who are saying get rid of Sakala, the players can't win on here. 
Sakala is a great squad player and someone we should keep unless a bid of decent value is submitted.

I can see the appeal in either tbh. Depends what you're after.
I don't fancy his chances in Turkey, but I don't get folk that say he's a waster or whatever going to Fenerbahce. It's a big club in a decent league where he'll be well paid in surroundings that I can see appealing to alot of people. 
Equally could see a Championship club being of appeal to others.

You're a liar if you say you'd rather play football for any championship side over fenerbahce. Regardless of the surrounding areas I'm sure rich folk have nice places to stay, always fucking warm and passionate fans. If he fails then so be it but it's a better league than ours and the championship.
