Next Season; can't help but feel pessimistic

Recommended Posts

No one knows what is going to happen and we have been in this position for the past few years now and we have coped so far.

Let's see what happens in the coming weeks and months. Football is funny and anything can happen.

I'm always hopeful.

Regardless of what happens, the last two league titles have been the most important to win in Scotland for the last ten or so years. From now on, CL football is no longer a given for winning the league, and we've made the last automatic £20m ours from tanking the scum.

Celtic failing to qualify again will hopefully hit them hard too :sherlock:

It should also be noted that if you look past Liewell's deceptive PR facade, Celtic aren't much better off.

No manager, no back-room staff, no goalscorers, no defence, £2m spent on a single player for six months, all the cash spent paying off Mowbray and his staff, the cash spent on all the other loans and transfers that have failed miserably, no CL money for two seasons, not a single trophy last year and unseeded in the hysterically difficult CL Qualifiers this year....

I'm not too worried at all.

Instead of us worrying about what happening how abour basking in the fact we are SPL champions once again!

As mentioned above celtc are the team that should be worrying. The only player who was wining them games will be off, they have an inexpereinced manager who has only took charge of about 8 games, they will have no CL football and they are no doubt still abusing the youth team.

We are Rangers and we welcome the chase!

looks more and more we won't be bought out and the bank will be calling the shots

its pretty much a cert we will lose our best players in the summer

we will be putting out a team that could be beaten to second place let alone first

your always a happy camper on the board. you buy into every negative story printed by the press

not all of them especially NEVER NOTW ones

but the quotes from AJ seem pretty believable as the Ellis thing has been banging around for ages with nothing concrete to see

Somehow I feel optimistic - albeit frustrated through lack of real facts just now - as i cling to the belief that we will have some very good news to celebrate in the next few weeks.

Remember if we get money from Wilson and say Bougherra and some other money and we get Webster back we might surprise a few with the team we have next season.

Celtic are in a pickle with no CL money again and who? for a manager and loan players having to be bought or replaced. Darling Robbie will be gone and he scored most of their goals too.

So lets not let our frustration get on top of us. We will be fine. We just need some clarity to lift the gloom.
