Got to laugh at another one of the various failings of people with "sources"...

Marko said he 'knew' he would sign and it was all about tying up loose ends down in Burnley, haa.

The attitude of some of our fans just because a player has turned us down is laughable. He aint the 1st to do it and wont be the last.

We move on.

You didn't need sources for this one. It's even on that joke of an official site that we were in signing talks with him.

Eagles Rejects Rangers Move

Posted on: Thu 15 Jul 2010

Burnley winger Chris Eagles has tonight (Thursday) decided that a move to Glasgow Rangers is not in his best interests.

The two clubs had agreed a fee for the 24-year-old, but he was unable to agree personal terms with the Scottish champions.

Eagles will now join his Clarets team mates on tour in Singapore next week.

The former Manchester United wide man, who joined Burnley in July, 2008, has 12 months remaining on his current contract.

Would like to see if Bain/Smith come out and give a reason for his decision, especially since so many of us have just pledged hundreds of pounds into the club for the next year, would be quite a slap in the face if the club would not do the same.
