I don't know much about Russell but everyone should me wishing Gordon Smith well.

He's a great Rangers man and very intelligent.

Both men have put out dignified statements and can hold their heads up high as they walk out the front door.

This, I sent a wee letter to Gordon when he was appointed and got back a nice reply. :praise:

The way I view Smith's comments is that they add even more credence to the idea that Whyte planned to put us into administration all along. If he was planning to put us into administration from square one, then he would never have been interested in letting Smith do his job properly.

Whyte only hired Smith as a face for the director's box and the cameras, a credible Rangers man.

I'm surprised it's taken Gordon Smith till now to speak up about it though. He should have resigned and spoken up a LOT sooner rather than leave it till now.

Yes absolutely, if he wasn't getting to do his job then let the world know

He missed a chance to let us know earlier what this cunt was like

As others have said, Gordon Smith is a good Rangers man.

As for Ali Russell, I still consider it something of a shame as many of his initial ideas and plans, particularly relating to the selling and marketing of the club sounded really promising. Also, a lot of what he was speaking about and planning were things that should have been done long, long ago by us as a Club.

I wish them both well.
