Every time I have seen Krasic he's been quality. He gets next to no game time at Juve though and it's not as if they're making a clear bad decision by excluding him considering they didn't lose a game all season in the league.

Would love to see him in the PL, but not West Ham.

Arsenal are close to completing a deal to sign Montpellier striker and France international Olivier Giroud for £12m.

The Gunners are expected to confirm the 25-year-old's arrival this week.

It is understood that manager Arsene Wenger intends to play him alongside fellow new signing Lukas Podolski and Robin van Persie in a front three.

The 6ft 3ins forward, who was an unused substitute in France's 1-1 Euro 2012 draw with England, scored 21 goals in his club's run to the Ligue 1 title.

Hope he doesnt turn out to be another Chamak...

if they sign giroud i would expect to see the end of van persie at arsenal they still have chamberlain walcott and gervinho up there for a front 3

West ham are looking at making a statement of intent this year. They are trying to sign Elia from juve who is an excellent player. Also being reported there in talks with santos for Brazilian striker Neymar on a 1 year loan deal. Jussi has signed up today and there also in talks with Diame. Don't think Krasic is a goer but the others you never know.

Totally agree.

He could do a job at say Liverpool or Everton (Everton depending on the fee).

Henderson,Downing,Adam etc are rank.

Heard a rumour Donovan at LA Galaxy with tipped for a move to Everton on a pernament basis aswell?

Wanyama open to move

Celtic starlet linked with big money transfer.

By Graeme Bailey

Victor Wanyama: Wanted by a number of English clubs

Celtic starlet Victor Wanyama is a target for a host of Premier League clubs and is hopeful of sealing a move to England this summer, Sky Sports understands.

Liverpool, Stoke City, Queens Park Rangers,Newcastle and West Ham United are all interested in landing the Kenyan midfielder.

Wanyama joined Celtic last summer from Belgian side Beerschot AC but his impact has been huge at Parkhead.

Celtic paid less than £1million for the 20-year-old but now a fee in excess of £6million is being talked about for Wanyama.

Clubs in Italy, Spain and France have all been impressed by Wanyama, but he is understood to be keen on a move to the Premier League.

Opportunities

Now Wanyama is ready to move from Celtic and his business manager Rob Moore has explained that he hopes the club would listen to offers if they came.

"That has been a lot of talk which is not necessarily true," Moore explained to Sky Sports.

"But he is like any other young talented footballer in that he wants to play at the highest level.

"He has made the club aware that if they receive an offer from one of the big leagues he would like them to consider it.

"He is not unhappy at Celtic, far from it - he loves the club and everything has been great for him since he moved but should something come in he feels they should listen."

Record Sport understands that newly crowned Premier League Champions, Manchester City, are to launch a sensational £10 million pound offer for Celtic ace Victor Wanyama.

The Kenyan has been on terrific form since arriving at the IRA supporting cunts but it seems the offer will for short of his recently acclaimed "£14 million" price-tag.

Manchester City are one of many teams keeping tabs on the young slave. Other teams being linked are thought to be the likes of AC Milan and PSG, who by chance, Wanyama also used to watch in his mudhut.

Sky Sports understands Barnsley have made an audacious attempt to lure Egyptian ace Mido to Oakwell.

The 29-year-old, who has extensive experience in England, is currently a free agent after leaving Zamalek in May.

The Tykes are now understood to have made a move for the striker with the hope of persuading him to join the Championship outfit.
