King Jela 20,578
Over-paying for Lukaku imo
The Godfather 72,390
Chelsea will need to sell 3 non homegrown players if they are to bring in another foreign player.Marin, Romeu and one of Cech or Courtious IMO.
TheKingObv 10,649
Don't think 25 million is over paying at all.Fantastic goal scoring record, a player they know works in their system, and he's only 20/21 and clearly will improve a lot in the next few years. The Godfather 72,390
He's pretty brutal on the ball and his first touch is like a rapist. It's a good deal for Chelsea IF they bring in another striker.

TheKingObv 10,649
Tailed off towards the end of last season but for the most part he wasn't brutal on the ball and had a decent touch...
The Godfather 72,390
Tailed off towards the end of last season but for the most part he wasn't brutal on the ball and had a decent touch...He's a good finisher but his first touch and general ball control is howlin. He's still young but he's never good enough to lead the line for a top club. simplythebest 11,453
By far Everton's record fee I think?
WilliamFyfe 1,438
@GregOK: Confirmed. #Everton have completed a five-year deal for #Romelu Lukaku. Club will announce signing tonight. Massive coup for the BluesGreat signing.
Columbo 588
Think Chelsea have made a mistake letting Lukaku go. Costa has had one good season so a lot of pressure on him. Drogba isn't what he once was and Torres is not up to it.Their forward line has no doubt improved on last season but not to the extent they should have strengthened it in my opinion
KingKirk 25,764
So Chelsea have Torres, Drog and costa shouldn't of let him go

Goianegra 4,686
Real coup, thought bigger clubs would have went in for him. No chance Everton are getting top 4 though.
Wearethepeople72 1,847
Great signing for Everton. Don't understand Chelsea's thinking at all.
Creampuff 22,628
Don't see where people get off thinking this is bad business for Chelsea.£25m for a striker that has undoubted potential, but is still very, very raw. Consider that this Summer Chelsea signed Cesc Fabregas for only a fraction more...
MasterD 7,442
Probably buy him back in 2 years for £40m
Straight-Edge-Loyal 6,696
Yeah rb,cb and defensive midfielder if need beNever heard of him playing cb i know he can play right back centre and wide right he isn't tall or strong enough for centre back imo
The Godfather 72,390
Don't see where people get off thinking this is bad business for Chelsea.£25m for a striker that has undoubted potential, but is still very, very raw. Consider that this Summer Chelsea signed Cesc Fabregas for only a fraction more...Exactly.He's not good enough yet to be a starter for Chelsea and that's what he is demanding.Chelsea also bought him for £13 million ( 18 was made of add ons which he hasn't met) so once again it's a BIG profit. This is the first time Chelsea have made a profit I'm sales so far and that's not including the CL money and EPL money so plenty left to spend should more players leave as expected. Clemdog 39,389
It's a good deal for both Club's, for which Club it'll be a better deal is down to Lukaku. I do think it'll work out better for Everton, but at the end of the day it doesn't really matter to Chelsea as they have stupid money.
