What is the point of them? They bring nothing to the atmosphere. They choke the poor bastards that have to stand next to them. They set electric cables on fire and have useless cunts running around looking for bags of sand to put it out.

Time they were stopped before there is a serious incident. Especially in some of the old stadiums we are visiting lately.

Smoke bombs dont cause asthma attacks and they dont effect asthma.

Pyro has been set off on a regular basis for a good few years now, Dont see why anyone would punish us now. Also taigs didn't invent pyro.

This may be true but they do affect people with bronchial problems especially emphysema. Spectacles are great when everybody enjoys them, but not when they can affect someione's health. A little less selfishness would go a long way.

They are not big or clever those inbred fools use them we should be above it. They add nothing but make us look like this as a club childish paper and smoke bombs come on. When they are songs to be sung and lovely banners to be held leave all those the fireworks/flares etc at home.

The fact is that the beasts are getting done by Uefa for letting off flares. And instead of boxing clever, we give people ammo to hammer our club.

Agreed.

It was quite amusing at first but not now.

We now see UEFAs stance on it so why put us in trouble ?

They're getting 'in trouble' off UEFA because its being set off in UEFA competitions.

Neither us, taigs nor any club in Britain(as they're now used every week up and down the UK) have ever been punished for using them domestically.

Maybe so, but once UEFA set a precedent it usually gets followed through by members.

I liked it at first - it adds to atmospheres but when it happens too regularly it loses that effect.

Do agree with the bottom. As I said at the start of the thread. Only having a couple every away game looks shite and is pointless. Different story if its on the same level as the Youth Cup Final/QP away etc.
