If Murray goes out next match, he's already 1625 points ahead of Djokovic in the rankings. This is an excellent chance to open up a big lead at the top. Make sure his stay at the top of the tree is a long one.

Plus he's literally defending nothing until the French Open, great chance to widen the gap! Provided he remains consistent he should remain at Number 1 for the calendar year!

Massive chance for him to win the Australian Open, he handled the pressure well at Wimbledon when Isner put Novak out, hopefully he'll manage it just as well in this tournament too.

They are questioning djokovics build up now. Seemingly he went home after doha then flew out to australia on wednesday, which isnt ideal.

It sounds as if he is trying to be a good family man and be the top guy in tennis and I dont think that is going to work. If his wife is putting spanners in the works and asking him to jump through hoops she wants to take a good look at herself.

To be the best everything has to revolve round you. It sounds as if Djokovic is trying to make compromises.

Tbh mate I couldn't care less if Murray stayed at number 1 for the rest of the year. He's already reached that goal so for the next couple of years it should be all about grand slams. ??
