Drunk and disorderly. 14,587 Posted November 17, 2014 Share Posted November 17, 2014 14 arrested over football disorder at Livingston v RangersPolice have arrested 14 people in connection with disorder at a football match last month.Two 14-year-olds were among those held following an incident at Livingston v Rangers at Almondvale Stadium in West Lothian last month.Trouble erupted when stewards attempted to eject a drunk man from the stand during the match on October 4.Following an investigation officers from Police Scotland's Violence Reduction Unit arrested 14 males from the Glasgow area over the course of last week.Two are aged 14, three are 15, three are 16 and a further three are 17.An 18-year-old was also arrested along with a 19-year-old and a 49-year-old.All will be reported to the procurator fiscal and are being considered for Football Banning Orders.Inspector Myles Marshall said: "There is absolutely no place for disorder or any other criminal offences at football matches or any other sporting event."Whenever these incidents occur we will work closely with partner agencies and other departments of Police Scotland to bring those responsible to justice."Make no mistake, even if we do not apprehend offenders during a match, we will progress inquiries after full-time to identify those responsible for criminal activity and ensure they cannot commit further disorder at future matches.Source: Evening Times. These idiots are doing nothing but bringing the reputation of the club into harms way and all many can do is either blame the police or dabble in 'but what about THEM?'How about looking at ourselves and maybe trying to prevent this kind if idiocy happening in the first place.
