Rupret 223
So to pass time before the game, how would you upgrade Ibrox? For me get rid of the screens and make corners like old Tannadice but much smaller.I quite liked the look of Chelsea's failed Battersea stadium, view minded me a bit of Ibrox. Bears r us 31,283
Probably need to get all the repair work done first before any upgrading, but that is just my opinion.

onefootwillie 1,519
Would love us to have the largest Stadium in Scotland. I was fortunate to get to the Westfalenstadion last year and that's how I would like Ibrox to be

Get rid of the screens and fill in the corners, would look fantastic. We might not fill the seats now but I see it as building for the future. Can't see it happening any time soon though. harlands plater 17,120
Put in thousands of additional seats, so we can cover them with massive banners like all the other Scottish clubs do.

Prso's headband 36,721
Three tier sandy jardine stand? Not so sure, 100% in favour of a standing section though
B1872 21,895
Keep the screens but fill in the corners between the main stand, Copland and Broomloan. People will be on to tell me soon it can't be done. However that's the change I'd make.
Guest
Id rather we kept our current capacity than have thousands of empty seats like at the pigerry. I think folk are dreaming if they think well ever get 60k on a weekly basis.Id like the area surrounding Ibrox to be improved

Bluebrows 42
Seriously, what planet are they on wanting extra seatsI don't think it's as unachievable as you think to get say 60k. When we are back in the PL chasing titles and European runs. If the Rangers marketing team could work on the 'matchday experience' along with a dedicated standing area........I could go on forever but it could be done. A handful of times? Theres better things we could spend out money on
Rupret 223
Cancel my previous request, a non broke Stadia would be good.

My point was that when we are back chasing PL titles and European runs a 60k capacity wouldn't be far off.Yes the last 5 years have not been good attendance wise but we could pick another 5 year era when tickets were gold dust. I'm just thinking about what I'd like to see in the future when we are back on top. There are better things we can spend money on, agreed, but it's a thread about the stadium. A handful of times? Theres better things we could spend out money onFor an extra £5m a season.....worked for the tarriers. We've spent 95% of the last 5 years in the Scottish lower leagues. An increased capacity is essential to challenging and toppling the filth over the next 10, 20, 30 years. Whether we fill it every week or not.
