For sure, but we need a central defence that have an awareness of what is n front of them, dominate in the air (just heading a ball would  be good!) can time a tackle and can run faster than a kert horse destined for the knackers yard. These fucking two wouldn't add value in a bad net ball team. These two have got to be the worst in in the league. A pair of powder puffs who detract from any good overall team performance and are fucking embarrassing to watch. They will cost us big time and it's fuck all to do with money, just the basic attributes of a central defender.

They struggled to beat the fucking sheep last season how much money did the sheep spend?

Spending money does not equate to winning leagues buying the right people with the right attitude is FAR more important than how much they cost.

The issue is tactical ( IMHO) - yesterday, and previously, the space is in behind the full backs when Wallace or Tavernier go forward - this exposed the CBs - but it's great to watch and the only way to shore up the defence is a different form of attack - I think we have to accept the odd goal loss if we want to maintain this style.

If your backs bomb forward there is always space to be exploited behind them - that space can be exploited with decent passing and pace - you can close those passes down (high tempo pressing game)  but that space is the cost of the way we play - all tactical set ups have weaknesses - there is no perfect system - Walter played a more solid 442 and gets accused of boring football - MW plays 433 with full back bombing on - great to watch but leaves defensive gaps.
