Wish them both well wherever they end up. Kiernan just wasn't ever going to be good enough for us.

Forrester on the other hand could have been a cracking player for us if he put the work in but he seems content just making a living from the game. And for that reason I dare say Kiernan will be the one that goes on to have the better career out of the 2.

Aye this has been floating around for a while and Edgar said the same on his pod last night.

Kiernan will no doubt be a more than capable League 1 centre half and could be Championship standard if he cuts the errors out his game, or just learns to concentrate.

Forrester has the ability but not the application. Confident he will go on floating about League 1 and 2 for the rest of his career.

Canny see Kiernan being even close to championship standard. There's 10 million pound strikers in the championship. Kiernan was found out and embarrassed against absolute shite ( Stokes in the cup final springs to mind).

I like him but he's dreadful

It's a shame because both appear to have something, but their flaws outweigh the advantages.

I still wonder why the laddie Kiernan never got any better with all the super duper coaching he received at Auchenhowie.

Its as if all the fluff we heard was all that, smoke and mirrors.

Drank plenty water and his pitch geography was excellent though.

Forrester looked like a sharp, pacy, skilled player in every match he started - for about 15 minutes each match.

Then he looked tired and out of breath thereafter.

Won't ever forget his goal against Dundee in the cup in 14 seconds...

Shame about the 2 of them, both have attributes to make them decent players in Scotland, but have flaws that hold them back from being decent players.

Kiernan has the athleticism, height etc but concentration and decision making is woeful at times.

Forrester has the skill, tenacity, ability, but his decision making is poor and isn't a team player.

Wish both of them well, if they have been told to leave.

I've said it loads of times now but people just don't seem to understand that Warburton has inherited a far better squad at Forest than the one he left behind here so he has no reason to come back for anybody.

That is true but he is a really really bad judge when it comes to what makes a good player so fingers crossed he thinks Kiernan is on a par with or better than what he has.
