Well done Alfredo

He needs dropped or a strike partner to play up-top with him.

As much as his attitude has gone downhill, he's playing a thankless role. When he's pressing the likes of Windass and co. switch off, meaning he just wastes energy. It's no surprise that he's doing less off the ball, because he was running himself into the ground at times last year for very little. We also at present just seem to be hitting the ball into the box aimlessly, which is pointless when he's 5ft 8. It's easier to miss headers when you're that small, as you'll see the ball later than most and rarely get an unobstructed view.

On his day he can be a handful and is a really useful asset, but he's not a poacher and he's only just turned 22? We cannot go into a league season expecting someone that inexperienced to go and hit 25-30 goals on his own with limited service.

Well,he had more than enough service last year to hit 25-30 and simply wasn't capable of putting the ball in the net when it mattered.

Sometimes I actually wonder if he needs glasses, but is too ‘manly’ to admit it. ?

The other option is he isn’t the smartest, and his brain is struggling to reconcile Gerrards new instructions and his normal style of play.

Last night his failure to pass properly to Ejaria bordered on criminal, especially after nicely beating his man to set it up.

He's not Kenny Miller, he can't always do it all on his own.

He needs service - feed the buffalo and he will score.

Caixinha played to his strengths and got a lot of goals out of him - no one else has managed that.

So Miller did it all on his own? All 4 goals last season?

Morelos got service, scored a good return 1st half of the season then went off the boil. So far this season he has continued in poor form, missed chances, looked poor overall, and is more often than not everywhere but where the ball is put on a plate for a no9.

It's a fallacy to suggest that more or better service will resolve this. Morelos is more of a problem right now than the lack of chances being presented to him. And worse, out of all outfield players he appears to be contributing the least effort so I wonder how much he actually wants to work to turn it around right now.

Needs dropped.

Possibly, imagine we had the first ever player to wear contact lenses, might open up a few sponsorship avenues:whistle:

A lot of shite he can’t at this time even do the basics.

I can’t believe we didn’t take the money on offer for him from China. Even if was half of the reported 11 million we should have taken it.

Looks a retarded decision now.

Won't get more than 1 or 2 million now if the performances stay at the level since the Chinese links.

The hard working Kenny Miller who played under Smith, who chased everything down and got involved in everything - yes.
His performances dropped as he got older because he was trying to carry a poor team and do all their work for them.
I'm not sticking up for him, because he did spit the dummy out when Pedro tried to change him and if he'd played along things may have went better.

So you're agreeing with me about Morelos and service? I just want to double check on that...

If we provide him with chances, instead of making him chase down balls and do all the work, he will score goals

There would have had to have been a decision to make.

It was reported at that time that the money would've been paid up front as well.
