It won’t get to Murrayfield, easy option would be to switch the league and cup ties around for that lot.

We should oppose that, as it gives them an extra week to prepare for a semi final - which will put us at a disadvantage in the competition. Stick with the original plan, sod the lot of them.

Breaking News: SPFL has announced that both games will be on the same day as originally planned.   The Rangers vs Aberdeen game will be played in Barcelona and the celtic vs Hearts game will now be played in Munich.  A spokesperson for Police Scotland confirmed they'd be sending 200 fully paid observers to each game and that this was a satisfactory outcome for all parties.

Scum now complaining that it needs to be an open draw to see which fixture gets moved to Murrayfield ?

Can't we just tell them we'll play there? I really enjoy going to Murrayfield for rugby and I think Rangers v Aberdeen in a semi-final in that stadium would be brilliant. It'd add to the occasion/spectacle and I personally would look forward to it much more than another trip to Hampden.

Hearts & celtic play each other the week after. Just swap the competitions and then both games can be at Hampden just on different weekends?

You are happy allowing them an extra week to prepare for a cup competion, which is part of their fabled treble treble plans??? Not a chance.

It also gives Hearts an extra week. Both play midweek so celtic will play thursday, sunday then wednesday before a cup semi. Arguably Hearts will still be fresher.

If they rest players in the midweek league game then they risk dropping points in the league and it still doesn't stop their "best" centre half missing the semi against their bogey side.

The taigs want another draw to determine which tie is hampden and which is murrayfield

That's fair enough IMO

When it was first realised that one of these ties might have to be played on the Saturday, most of us including the manager said the first tie out the hat was the fairest way to decide, using that logic then first tie out the hat should get Hampden.

I don't care where we play the sheep, we'll pump them in any city

Can we not just let Police Scotland decided again, they decided that we could both play in the same stadium then deciding that our game goes first. Now they have come to the conclusion that we can’t play in the same stadium so let’s just let them make the next decision on who plays where! It’s not as if the fenian spfl can make any decisions, they’re even more inept, a fucking draw is too complicated for them.

First half of that game can be the semi match...second half for the league points.

a simple double-header - like we used to do in the old school league when games were piling up..............(and the ref wore a blazer, sometimes)

Still don’t think they would allow it as you would still have the 100,000 fans in Glasgow on the same day! Except more tarriers!

Common sense would be to do hearts vs taigs at murrayfield and us vs the sheep at hampden.

But this is such a farce now it's unreal.

Breaking News: SPFL has announced that both games will be on the same day as originally planned.   The Rangers vs Aberdeen game will be played at 4am local time in Baku. Rangers will be given 99.9% ticket allocation and expected to pay upfront. Us celtic vs Hearts game will now be played at 3pm at a neutral venue in East Glasgow. Ticket split will be 95/5 in decided by Peter, alphabetical order. This is deemed a satisfactory outcome for all non-notified footballing parties by Mr Doncaster ,Chairman MacLennan and independent review by "are you a Ranger's Fan?" Dermot Desmond.  We hope now that everyone can move on from this matter, although it had been noted that only one club from the four semi finalists never made any demands or caused any friction which undoubtedly showed utter contempt to the other parties with a "I'm alright jack" attitude.
