Have all the got pass marks for the season so far? Yes

Have any shown any signs of losing their edge, fitness or age affecting them, lack of heart for the battle ahead? No

Folk negative for the sake of it, or prerry naive thinking we'll get better whilst taking chance of the new player not settling in quickly etc.

Age isn't really that important. We'd struggle to find a better keeper than McGregor even if we had millions to spend on a new keeper. He's been fantastic and could probably play for another few years. Pretty much everyone wanted Davis playing on Sunday because he has been playing so well, and Defoe has scored 13 goals. Providing Defoe takes a drastic wage reduction, all 3 would be very decent moves.

To those questioning the extension to Defoe’s deal...give yourselves a shake. He’s contributed massively so far this season, both on and off the park.

Ok, he’s had a dry spell in recent weeks with the limited game time he’s had, but nobody will be more aware of this than Jermaine himself. He’s a model pro (love the guy...a perfect role model for strikers everywhere) that’s still hungry to score goals. The players around him need to step up and do more to put chances on a plate for him. Give him these clear cut chances and the majority of the time he’ll produce the goods. He’s ruthless in front of goal 👍🏼

Happy with that .

McGregor and Davis have been instrumental to where we are today and though Defoe hasn't featured much lately his goal tally has been impressive . Thats the backbone of the team right there , and their experience will prove invaluable to those around them .

great to hear that RFC, and only RFC, can operate in a temporal anomaly

McGregor is a no brainer as he has proven his worth. Likewise with Davis happy to keep him provided he is on modest wages given his age.

Defoe no as although he has scored 10 goals in the SPL the majority have come in games we have/would have won easily without his contribution. Let’s face it he will not be getting offered peanuts to stay.

Happy with a new deal for shagger, Defoe and Davis I’m not sure. Yes they’ve been good this season but we’re not even half way through yet and they’re at an age where they can’t go on much longer, will they still be able to do it at the level we require over a year from now? I hope the club have got this right because they’ll still both be on good money and I can’t help but feel that could be better spent on younger players.

Davis was sadly missed on Sunday and none of our young midfielders come anywhere close to what he brings.

These three players can help get us the league title this season.  Worry about age degeneration next season.

The same davis that played 90mins in the defeat at ibrox that we didnt dominate

People saying davis was missed when its the most one sided old firm game for us in nearly a decade. 😂😂

The second half of that post is silly.

Sounds like fortune telling tbh.

he’s the league’s top scorer and much of that is from the bench/irregular game time.
