Unsure if this is already well known but just watching this interview and learned that Aspinall was a decent goalkeeper before darts, picked up by Stockport County as a boy then went to the Manchester United academy.

But at around 1:40 he reveals that he was offered a contract by Rangers when he was at the academy but didn’t want to move!

Wouldn't surprise me if someone comes out as gay and they give them the same treatment in the future just to say they are being inclusive
