Balogun, Bassey and also McLaughlin, all on frees I think, is proving some very shrewd business and also further proof it's not always about spending big money. I think it was difficult to gauge him at first because of how unorthodox his movement is for a centre half  Its hard to describe why. When he runs it looks like he’s climbing 6 flights of stairs and if he’s beaten it looks like he’s never getting back - but he always does. So, 11 shots on target in the remaining 15 games (which included Aberdeen, celtic & Standard Liege all away from home plus Galatasaray at Ibrox). That is mightily impressive.
