Mystery surrounding Stewart's omission from the radio show comes as the Gers row rumbles on. It is understood that Stewart WILL be back in studio for Sportsound's midweek coverage. Stewart was suspended indefinitely by the BBC after accusing Traynor of leaking stories to the press regarding striker Alfredo Morelos and casting doubt on accusations of alleged racist abuse received by the player in a Sky Sports interview. He launched into a scathing tirade about Traynor, causing BBC's Kenny McIntyre to apologise live on air and the broadcaster keeping Stewart off the airwaves. We told last week how Stewart's suspension was lifted by the Beeb after positive discussions where the former footballer agreed to code of conduct. A statement released by BBC Scotland said: "Following Sportsound on Monday, February 3 we have clearly explained the BBC editorial guidelines around fairness and accuracy to Michael Stewart.
