The sfa are putting up a better defence of the trip to dubai than the tarriers own supporters, no fkn shame at all. Corrupt to the core doesn't even come close!

And strangely not being held to account by the apologetic Sturgeon

Watched her piece on them and she was careful in choosing her words .

There is no way this women is going after them for the abuse scandal

Spfl and Sfa are corrupt to fuck but not enough people calling them out

I think Boyd has been a bit of a twat to us in recent years. But the past 12 months he's becoming rapidly more likeable. Strong stuff tonight in condemnation of septic. Even whalker was raging over their behaviour to be fair

Hate Walker like a passion but fair play to him on this .He was totally getting stuck into them

That's really unfair I think. He couldnt do what hes doing now when he was still contracted to Killie. Had to have more of an impartial outlook.

That's exactly what it was I think. The difference in him since he retired from playing is unreal and long may it continue. He isn't just a cheerleader though, he will call us out if needs be.

Been brilliant this season.

What we said at the time when the SFA banned our players

Rangers say they accept the seven-game bans handed to Jordan Jones and George Edmundson by the Scottish FA for Covid-19 related breaches.

The pair attended a party after their side's 1-0 Scottish Premiership win against Kilmarnock on 1 November.

Jones, 26, and Edmundson, 23, were charged by the SFA and suspended by Rangers pending an investigation.

The pair learned their punishment at an SFA hearing on Thursday.

Rangers say the length of the ban shows "the seriousness with which Covid protocol breaches will be dealt with".

"Football is in a privileged position and we recognise the responsibility that we all must uphold within the national sport," the club's statement added.

"The outcome of today's hearing brings the standard and expectations set by the Scottish FA into sharp focus."

Over to you SFA........we're all ears........

Their answer will be this was not a breach by the players but by the club so the players are not subject to individual punishment just the club. The club will get a 40k fine in line with Killie and St Mirren and as they haven't missed a game no games forfeited.  End of story!.

Couldn't give a fuck what happens to them now tbh

Their squad has been wrecked for 2, potentially 3 games where hopefully they drop more points...right after they hoped they'd go on a good run

Their fans, media & pretty much every club are raging at how incompetent/arrogant they are, as always!

And it should be another reminder, if we needed it, that we need to keep ourselves as clean as possible over the next month or 2 to wrap up the title.

All about us now, they've done enough damage to themselves.

There previous fine was £30k with £22k suspended depending on having no more occurrences of breaking the rules. Surely they will now have to pay the full fine for the Bollingoli incident.

Also that Bolingoli incident it was SPFL that adjudicated and not the SFA compliance system in regards to failures by the football team, that should be made to be explained also.

I see the mutant has piped up.

Both the club captain and assistant manager have now gone on record as saying they followed all protocols when they clearly didn't. Their lack of awareness or understanding of the protocols was and, it would seem, still is incredible. The manager sitting less than two metres away from the captain with 2 random members of the public less than 2 metres away beside them in a public area displays an ignorance of the elite bubble protocols that is astonishing. Likewise 5 players in a hotel bar.

The mutant's defence is that they trained really hard so they were entitled to  use the sunbeds and the bar????

It's the equivalent of Jones and Edmundson saying they had trained hard all week so they thought it would be ok to go to a party on the Sunday night.

Fucking mental

Anything less than 7 match bans for each of the Covidiots (that's the term used for every other offender) would need a clear explanation

The mutant speaks...............

Skipper Brown, speaking after the return from the UAE on Friday, said: “Everyone is going to question everything - that’s the modern-day era.

"Everyone has a say in everything we do these days.

“We got the okay from the government and we made sure we followed the guidelines from there.

"We went out and worked hard on training - that’s what the whole thing was for us.

“People don’t see our training daily or see how hard we worked.

"Sometimes you’re allowed to sit on the sunbeds and have some down-time as well.

“What we do away from the cameras in training is for us to benefit in games.

"As you’ve seen in the last three or four seasons, we’ve come back from Dubai and done really well because we work extremely hard.

“It’s all about the preparation for the next five or six months of the season.

"The manager’s philosophy, which he puts on to us, is how we can work in different ways and different shapes.

“We worked on that all week and that’s what Dubai has been for us in the last three or four seasons now.”

Personally I think they should forfeit their place in the competitions this season for their sheer negligence. Lawwell should be made to make a public apology as he sits on each of the boards concerned that are doing the decision making.

He should be forcibly made to recuse himself from each board, no argument accepted.

They talk like they feel they are above everyone else and that its unfair that they're being called out, but that they know in al likelihood fuck all will happen to them

Just like they have done in regards to child abuse.

The worm is slowly turning.

They'll get fined the equivalent of 2 weeks wages for Duffy.

If that.

Their last fine was £30k with £22k suspended. They’ll maybe have to pay the £22k and get another equivalent amount, suspended again for their next fuckup.

Julien will be the scapegoat and hung out to dry.

7 game suspension in line with Jones & Edmundsen.

The fact he is out for 4 months injured is purely coincedental .

You should get a job with them, that’s exactly what the outcome is going to be. They did it previous with Christie.

It's nothing to do with the positive test and the narrative that it could happen anywhere is irrelevant. The photographs of the breaching distancing protocols, not using mask, close proximity to the public is what that the players and staff should be getting SFA punishments for. You can still test negative and be punished.

Punishment? There’s barely been a whisper from the authorities, they only agreed to look into it because of the political pressure and the anger of the majority of the country. If anything it will be a moderate fine suspended for any further breach.

Neil Doncaster has to go now his position is untenable. He has went into hiding over all this. Might finally hear from him today after the meeting but I wouldn’t hold my breath. This meeting will be complete car crash, the lower league teams are quite rightly raging at being the ‘sacrificial lambs’ for the actions of one team. The missing funds etc, watch this space.

They’ll get a monetary fine at most.

Not a chance of a point deduction or points being awarded to teams.

The narrative of it could have happened anywhere has already Been set.

Not expecting points reduction as no other club has had that. Killie and St Mirren didnt fulfil fixtures hence forfeiting games. Not saying that was correct but that was the reason. Rangers should be asking why Jones and Edmuundsongit 7 match bans if none of their players having to self isolate due to breaking protocols are not banned.

I’d like to think that behind the scenes pressure is being applied by the board, at the very least this matter should (and I think definitely will) be on the table at the meeting today and not just by our club. Looking forward to hearing the outcome of today, lots of discussions to be had and as this thread points out a lot of matters involving celtic to be clarified and addressed...
