He protects the defence magnificently, and as we saw when he came on today he can put in the passes and take the opportunities to move forward. Sometimes there seems to be a confusion about his role but whenever he plays he's a consistent 7 or 8 out of 10 IMO. 1st name on the team sheet in midfield for me, and delighted he's back.
