So What is the Difference?

One big difference I've really started to notice is playing through the lines and finding more space centrally, so often before Gio our whole game was solely based on getting two fullbacks forward and wide, now with Gio players look for space not only out wide but centrally, have really enjoyed watching us again.

Shite teams can win cups, they cant win leagues.

You telling me you'd rather win 2 cups than the league??

You need to let it go, mate. 1 out of 9 trophies is never good enough at Rangers no matter which way you try to spin it.

That's my point. Who could ever have imagined when he took over than within 3 seasons he could build a side capable of performing with that level of consistency?

So they "one trophy in 9 is a failure" accusations are nonsense. Its not taking into any consideration how far behind Rangers were when he took over.

Yes we were behind and it took a lot of work and money to get us to the title.

However were we so far behind that cups were out of the question within 3 seaons, no.

It would be one thing if it was scumbag fc knocking us out. But it was clubs like the sheep, hearts (bottom of the table at the time), St mirren and St Johnstone beating us. Sides we should have been beating.

Gerrard deserves huge credit for winning us the league for sure. But it shouldn't give him a free pass with a dreadful cup record.

He was hardly going to be able to take on celtic signing players was he? It's amazing he was able to do it for as little as 30m, considering how far ahead they were and the transfer fees they were dishing out - £9m for Eduoard.

30m is huge sum of money in Scottish football, that’s 30m net as well, yes the tarriers spent money but that was largely offset by the Dembele and Tierney money
