I'm genuinely shocked it looks like they're going to take him back, given how it ended.

Would rather them go for someone else tbh.

Shows how fickle they are. You know they'd forget everything they said and will be hero worshipping him again.

Fact is he is a good manager though...it would give them a lift to get him in so i'd rather it didn't happen in honesty.

He ain't knocking the scum back for Leeds

Totally depends on what the new owners are selling him. Massive budget and guaranteed investment for future years - could totally see him convinced it is his chance to prove everyone wrong and that he has hard done by lack of investment at Leicester.

Get the point about his ego not wanting to go to championship, but similar could be argued about coming back to them after walking out for his big chance to get back into England going wrong. Surely even he isn’t so delusional that he doesn’t realise they still have a large amount of seethe that will still be bubbling away after he dared to leave them last time.

Would be funny as fuck if he turns them down now though!!!

It does look like most celtic fans have come around to the idea of him coming back after initial reservations, so if he does bail now it would be great.

Yeah on the surface. We all know how deep and long their sense of injustice runs.

First sign that it might not be going right and never mind Jaws, it will be Sharknado in the carpark!

Get where you are coming from but for me Rodgers is as big a gamble for different reasons.

Let’s be honest we all pished ourselves when they appointed Postecoglu, but that gamble worked out. Moresca is of the same ilk, but because of what happened with Postecoglu I suspect their support would be more inclined to give him time - still might not work but there is also the chance it might.

With Rodgers the gamble is if they have even a slightly dodgy start it isn’t going to take long for the Timplosion to get under way, and pretty easy to see a situation with the nutcases splitting themselves into camps wanting Rodgers head (and probably the boards for bringing him back) and those that still see him as the saint blaming the players.

Quite surprised at him wanting to go back there when they were baying for his blood the way it ended before.

“Brendan just forget the break in, it was just a bit of over exuberance, just a prank, our fans just love the crac. They didn’t mean to make your wife and step-daughter barricade themselves in the bathroom terrified for their lives…..it’ was just a joke that went a bit far. So will you come back, pretty please”

The footage, uploaded onto Twitter, shows supporters in a pub singing that they wished Rodgers would "die in his sleep with a bullet from the IRA."

He’d have to be off his rocker to go back that imo.

Rodgers was meant to have met Desmond today for final talks, some saying it will be announced in next few days.

Was always gonna be him

Worrying for us if it is Rodgers. Was hoping they would appoint downwards after Fat Ange but I think Rodgers is a better manager and coach.

He’ll just come back with the patter he didn’t like how it ended and has unfinished business there, they’ll be fine if they start winning probably.

Just focus on ourself, good recruitment,  keep winning.

He usually turns round a stagnated squad well, he really struggles to recruit

Would end up leaving them at the first chance again but hopefully not as that would mean he would have done well. Hope they’re in our shadow from the get-go.

Would like to hear what his missus and kids views are on the shenanigans last time out,and can he give any guarantees it aint going to happen again.
If he fails it will be worse than TLB was on the end of and that's a fact.
