Any mid camp replacements are almost always from the 21's as its logistically far easier and quicker. He's statistically been the worst keeper in the league this season when you look at xG vs goals conceded and save percentage. Trafford only replaced Johnstone as he was already with the 21's and it was last minute. They would never have called anyone up who wasn't already with one of the age groups. If Pope is fit and playing he will take his place at the Euro's. Rejection is a bastard in any walk of life but you can take it two ways, and in football, there are plenty of players who have turned rejection into an absolute positive. I always look at how Serge Gnabry who was told that he wasn't at the level required to play for West Brom by Pullis while on loan from Arsenal, he could have faded into obscurity but is now a UCL winning German star.
