The problem is not just his mediocre performances on the pitch (although those are bad enough), it's the whole 'loser mentality' and weakness as club captain. We really needed him to depart along with Goldson this summer, and the fact that he is still around, and a first choice for the team each week is a major problem for the whole culture at the club.

Far better players than him have been sold or stripped of the captaincy for less. He’s been a good servant for us but his decline over last few seasons is painful to watch. He is levels below where he needs to be, his legs are shot and he needs protected by other players which exposes us down the flanks and affects how we play. He can still produce against mediocre opposition but is continually exposed against better players. You can’t have someone whose performances are so poor as captain of the club. He was abject today and hid again post match. He needs taken out the side.

I agree, he needs dropped, he has been poor this season, Clement needs to put him out of his misery but he doesnt deserve the abuse he took outside Ibrox, he has gave us some great memories and he has been a great servant.   Clement needs to replace him.
