Dread to think what the hire of Murrayfield or Hampden would be per game. Not keen on playing "home" games in Edinburgh at all. A mockery of a situation but expected from us after the last decade or so

Steel can be produced in UK however, not at the cost levels they can achieve in China.

Yeah, are they not in the process of winding down steelworks in the UK?

There was some shit about the steel in that Squinty Bridge being shite because it came from China as well.

That prick Willie Haughey will likely have a say in it for Hampden and we'll be charged a fortune.

Pretty poor show by the Club to allow this to happen.  Pretty sad indictment on the state of this country that we can no longer produce such steelwork locally and the construction industry in general.

You might be surprised to hear that even going back 20 years, all the steel we used to build Royal Navy warships was sourced from Turkey, every type 45 destroyer is built entirely with Turkish steel.

We wound the industries down to embrace a service economy.  :ang:

It's not ideal, and it might make us look bad, but the failing is surely with the supplier and not in the same way like Dundee having waterlogged pitches and cancelling games at the last minute. With the SFA the club are trying to fix this long before various teams and supporters become inconvenienced, unlike that particular scenario.

If the failure was solely down to the supplier then a senior member of staff wouldn't have been sacked on the spot.

How is a ballot complicated?

Folk with mobility issues won’t want the club deck

Folk have started paying now through CCS - you said yourself you would want money back for not getting what you paid for

People with young children won’t want split up

the prices of a seats vary, not sure people will be happy giving up a £2k seat in a ballot

Just a few reasons why putting all season ticket holders into a hat and drawing out who gets a ticket and for where is way too complicated

The authorities won't let us play only away games all August. It's not happening especially since we can't guarantee Ibrox will be ready from September.

We'll need to hire either Hampden or Murrayfield and whilst I'm not fussed with either, the club will want the one that is least costly. Given capacity of Murrayfield to sell extra tickets and recoup money I do think that likeliest.

I just want all ST holders to get a seat, and for us to have the approx 5% away fans so there's no issues with us getting away tickets.

So Bennett only found out the situation in the middle of this week after someone outside the board talked to him about the copland not having any work done to it for weeks? The guy who lost his job was the middle man and said everything was fine even at the start of this week?

This was from Stevie at 4lads.

Pretty damning on the entire board if this is true, especially Bennett. Sleeping at the wheel once more.

More and more I hear about John Barnet the more and more it comes to light how our club is being ran. Was listening to a podcast saying that he works remotely full time from down in London. I’m sorry but that’s not good enough. Someone who runs a company of our size should be visible in and around the place. The CEO, CFO etc of my company are in the office at least 3 days a week and are visible. The club is an absolute fucking mess!

That’s the thing with Bennet working from home permanently. How can he possibly know what’s happening at the club whilst he’s stuck down in his house in London. It’s pretty clear that John Bennet is a massive problem here. However it looks like we are over a barrel due to us owing him money so fuck all will be changing any time soon. 👎🏻

It is a shit show being in this situation and will disrupt start of the season.

I'm curious to see if the first old firm gets moved later in the fixture list.

First old firm game is at the Piggery so won’t really be affected by our issues at Ibrox.
