Young and playing in a physical league like the SPL. I would be interested if we have any spotters picking out likely starters. Recently Tilio and Arzani couldn't cut it at Celtic. Maclaren is probably the best striker in the league ever after Berisha but he struggled at Hibs. Cummings great at the Mariners, but not an SPFL player. I could go on. Irankunda could turn out well at Bayern, but equally he could turn out like Sarpreet Singh has. Ultimately the league is really not of a great standard and I struggle to see anyone of potential we should be buying. Most of the good young Australians are already in Europe. I don't think there's anyone that would come into our first team and improve it either. As for whether we have spotters, we must have someone. We had a Sydney FC NPL player over last year on trial. I do get that, but if that guy does have a high ceiling, he would be in about the squad n playing from an early age, he is 21.
