It's only a throw away comment from a near 2 hour podcast Makes a point that anyone like that would be chased out regardless of family heritage and all the board backers would never contemplate backing anything other than what we have. I can't quite remember the fallout from that but be careful what you wish for. Yes it may be less glamorous and there isn’t the easy access to TV money but realistically the amount of investment required to be successful and gain easy access to CL is minimal compared to England. Plus if some kind of European league comes along in the next 5 / 10 years and you have the club dominating in Scotland and regularly competing in Europe then there is a route to better return on investment.
