DGers91 15 Posted Sunday at 13:59 Share Posted Sunday at 13:59 Sacking the manager is one thing but does anyone really trust this board to find and appoint the right manager to fix us and turn our club into what it should be a winning one. i think the board need to be removed as they have destroyed the club from a position of power (the 55 season) Sack the Board! bluenoz

Loads of people, myself included I can admit that, have said we should use his experience and have him as a sounding board because he’s lived it as a manager before. People have wanted him on the board for years, people have shouted for him to become DOF before. When whatever role he was being lined up for a year or two back, people were upset that it didn’t happen.

Yep, that's the things he's failing with as part of his remit. Sorry but im not buying that. A good manager is able to adapt to situation, as soon as he signed that extension any excuse he would have been able to point to is void, he agreed to these terms revised from whatever he was originally sold or not. The initial 6month period where he blamed everything on the previous manager in terms of pre season and fitness issues he did relatively well. Yes he put us in the position to win the league but ultimately he didnt as we fell away with some truly brutal results. Again this was blamed on Beale. Looking at this season after we had been promised a much improved and fitter team we have been absolutely brutal. He revised this to we would see the real Rangers in October and November..... If this is the real Rangers under his stewardship then we are well and truly fucked. A good manager is able to get a team in a shape that suits them. A good manager is able to get a group of professional players able to do the absolute basics. A good manager is able to foster a collective team mentality and have players playing for the shirt and fighting for points and running into the ground for each other. Clement ticks none of those boxes and worst of all he is unwilling to change or accept responsibility for it. He is done. Its like a dead man walking and its when and not if now. ExiledWeegie123 1,444 Posted Sunday at 14:09 Share Posted Sunday at 14:09 didnt Souness throw his weight behind Lampard, which made it a bit awkward for him to be involved when we picked Clement, would we have been any worse off with Lampard now looking back? who knows.
