Popular Post esquire8 45,138 Posted yesterday at 10:17 Author Popular Post Share Posted yesterday at 10:17 Little bit of news on this This is a massive deal for the club, biggest Front of shirt sponsorship in our history, from next season the new deal will be worth 80% more than current deal & potentially a lot more further with bonus incentives (could see almost double our current deal if we hit targets) Financially it is a great deal On the back of the recent Elior deal, which was a club record commercial deal, this is more good news Whilst I appreciate everything is a bit of a mess at the moment, these are two great deals for the club, cornerstone sponsorship basically that gives the club security going forward. Popular Post STEPPS BOY 77,471 Posted yesterday at 10:45 Popular Post Share Posted yesterday at 10:45 Take what Stevie says with a shovel of salt. Only a fortnight ago the club fed him that Danilo was a clean up op when in fact he got injured again. chris182, PromDeAnglais, Loyal72 and 2 others
Stunels 1,370 Posted yesterday at 10:49 Share Posted yesterday at 10:49 Sounds positive - I hate that we only have gambling sponsors now but seems like thats the only route to this level of money for us
.Williamson. 87,174 Posted yesterday at 11:04 Share Posted yesterday at 11:04 Wish we would get a big adidas original logo as a sponsor there and have our kit makers as Nike Loyal72 and johanhentze

RossS1873 2,617 Posted yesterday at 11:13 Share Posted yesterday at 11:13 Simple sponsor, more money. Can't complain I'd imagine if these things are being discussed, the kit manufacturers will be soon. And it'll be Castore (not ITK. It's just the easiest thing for the club unless someone else blows it out the water)
ElBufalo20 8,158 Posted yesterday at 11:22 Share Posted yesterday at 11:22 Not a fan of the gambling sponsors but if they’ve given the best offer on the table then have to go with it

Loyal72 13,604 Posted yesterday at 11:51 Share Posted yesterday at 11:51 Sceptical if it's a good deal, or just a marginal improvement on a shite existing deal. lau03143, Albertz85 and JoeTheShow
Laudrupsleftfoot 12,212 Posted yesterday at 12:15 Share Posted yesterday at 12:15 The deal itself is obviously what’s most important though a change from 32 Red/Unibet would have been nice.
rangersross 6,703 Posted yesterday at 12:18 Share Posted yesterday at 12:18 If the numbers are right, an 80% increase can’t be sniffed at.

Intrigued by this. 80% is huge but we must have been with Kindred since what 2015? 2016? Has it been renewed since then? Suspect the initial levels of the deal might have been poor. It’s a shame to enter into conversations like these from a position of weakness. If the club was in the CL, calm in the boardroom, and successful on the pitch, I’m sure it could’ve been significantly more.
DeanMK 5,238 Posted yesterday at 13:53 Share Posted yesterday at 13:53 I think he's getting a bit carried away with his tweets. Now saying the previous deal was worth £1.5m-£2m a season, which would mean a maximum increase of £1.6m a season. As welcome as extra cash is, "massive deal for the club" feels a little hyperbolic. JoeTheShow 45
80% more of a shite deal from a company we have been stuck with for a decade isn’t great.
stewaj3 1,472
Folk saying the original deal is shite, but you can only piss with the dick you are given... It was a shite deal and it isnt much better now. Yea, yea.. 80% etc, but football is moving on rapidly and our major sponsorships are increasing at too slow a rate to even be in the market for "talent" these days. How it compares with what we had and importantly how it compares with what that lot get from Dafabet.
