What the mhanks fail to appreciate is that, despite bringing in cash from CL, the money they earn in Scotland isn't sufficient to cover the cash spunked on Rodgers and the mega wages paid on average players playing in our country. They've coasted for a couple of seasons and I really firmly believe that their "this is easy" mentality will come back to haunt them if we put pressure on them.  Pumped out of the CL midweek, a defeat in the first OF game at Ibrox and that mob will shite themselves, utterly utterly shite themselves.  Cue the meltdown...

This. I firmly belive their arrogance will be their downfall. They’ve had it so easy since 2012 that they’ve developed an arrogance throughout the whole club that has distorted them from reality. The players go into every game thinking they’ll win no matter what, when things don’t go their way like spoilt children they throw their toys out rather than roll up their sleeves and do the hard work. The manager and board have forgotten what pressure is like, and when they drop points or things don’t work out they can’t handle the bruising their overinflated egos take and will blame each other rather than accepting they’ve had it easier than they ever have before and ever will again and now they’ve got to earn their money. The fans are the worst, they think it’s a sure thing they’ll do 10iar and they’re so used to strutting around thinking they’re playing like Brazil when the going gets tough they don’t know what to do except fight each other and throw abuse at the manager and players a few months ago they thought were unbeatable.

One things for sure they’re not going to have it easy this season, and it looks like they’ve forgotten how to deal with actually having to work for success, if we can keep the pressure up that whole club will implode and I for one can’t fucking wait!

Agree, and the rest of the society we are subjected to have bought in to this and promote it at every opportunity.

It's about to STOP.

For the first time in my life I'm actually disappointed that BBC Scotland has Match Of The Day on before Sportscene tonight.

Watching it on the iPlayer atm, they've honestly spent 10-15 minutes talking about how they need reinforcements etc...They've just spent £9m on one player

Two games in, one point behind and make no bones about it they are fucking shitting themselves.

We will have 15 players sent off the first game with them, and the cleaner too. The tea lady is fine she has jaffa cakes.

From the Union Cruiser:

Quote

Serious concerns are being raised over the mental health of celtic manager, Brendan Rodgers. Anyone with a loved one who has suffered from mental illness will recognise the signs, and I would plead with any friends or relatives of Brendan to reach out and assure him that help is available.

When Brendan arrived in Scotland, he instantly became the wanking material of choice for the Scottish press. Unfortunately the suggestion that he could ease the sectarian divide in Northern Ireland has went to Brendan’s head, and the Scottish press may need to shoulder some of the blame for his present vulnerabilities. Maybe when St Brendan is finished in Belfast he can go and sort out the Middle East, although getting the barbaric Hamas to stop their campaign of terror may be too much even for him!

It is easy to look back with hindsight, but signs of Rodgers’ mental fragility have been evident for some time. Brendan claimed last year that family is important to him, but in 2014 he seemed to lose the plot and went through a ‘Methadone Mick Makeover’. Weight loss, a sunbed tan, and a set of new sparkly white gnashers were all purchased, as he left his wife for a young Liverpool colleague called Charlotte Hind. This is when another symptom of Brendan’s possible mental issues first came to the fore. His representatives issued a statement denying that Rodgers and Hind were in a relationship. Four years on and they are a married couple. The compulsive lying has begun!

We can only speculate as to the trigger for the issues which have affected Rodgers, but he has been through many traumas in a short space of time. The year before he embarked on his image change, Brendan was in court to see his son, Anton, acquitted of an allegation of sexual assault on a sleeping young lady. She allegedly woke up to find pictures of her on Anton’s phone, taken while she slept. Maybe, just maybe, this was the moment he was destined to become celtic manager.

At the end of 2013, a transsexual called Chelsey Harwood tweeted that Brendan had slammed it up her arse. This has seen him mocked up and down the country with humorous terrace chants, but would obviously cause him some distress, especially coming not long after the break up of his marriage, his son’s court case and a full valet of his pearly whites! It is thought that Chelsey was tweeting in jest, which would make sense, as her hairy arse is too old for an employee of celtic.

His brother, is also a source of embarassment, and Brendan will surely be upset and angry over his links to republican paramilitaries, and his need to go into hiding after friends in his home town lost £200k in the bookies when he falsely claimed that his brother was about to be appointed Everton manager.

In his time at Liverpool, both Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez claimed Rodgers was a liar, who went back on his word. Carroll went further and revealed he is a shitebag who would say one thing to his face but then another on the phone.

The first year at celtic was rosy for Rodgers, and getting paid £2.5m per year to win a league with no challenge must have been the perfect tonic for Rodgers. He kept up his abysmal European record, but the press would never question St Brendan, so he must have been in high spirits. The only bump in the road being the suicide of the man spurned by his new wife when she moved to Glasgow.

Even then, when he claimed to be so happy, the man couldn’t stop spinning the old yarns. After clinching the title, Rodgers claimed that in a traffic jam in the Clyde Tunnel, a Rangers fan got out of his car, and commented ‘i’m so glad you’ve come to Scotland, you’re a breath of fresh air’. The deluded egomaniac is comedy gold.

In July 2017 Rodgers was summoned to court for failing to pay his council tax bill. Maybe further evidence that he is under strain.

Deluded Brendan was caught out again at the turn of the year when he claimed a woman in her 70s called Patsy, stands at the club hotel at every game, with a Brendan hat and scarf. He claims her son thanked St Brendan for giving her a new lease of life. The problem is that a celtic fan who works at the hotel confirmed there is nobody who fits Patsy’s description, and the whole episode was made up by Rodgers to further massage his ego.

Brendan’s levels of fibbing have surely reached a climax in the last week, however. He constantly claimed Dumbele was happy at celtic and that he was not for sale. It has been revealed, however, that Dumbele was whored out by celtic, who practically begged Brighton to buy him. What a fall from grace for the £40m target of Barca, Real, PSG, Man Utd etc that the only official bid was £3.7m from struggling Leeds Utd.

You might think that Rodgers has peaked by now, but upon signing Charly Musonda on loan from Chelsea, Rodgers expressed his delight at staving off competition from 24 teams for the youngsters signature. Now young Musonda had last season’s loan to Real Betis cancelled early because he could not get a game. If only Brendan knew that because he later stated that the day after he played against Real Madrid, the Spanish giants called to enquire about buying him. Musonda never featured against Madrid in his time at Betis. The pathological liar strikes again.

As if all that wasn’t enough, in an absurd retort to Craig Levein, Brendan suggested that maybe Hearts shouldn’t field 16 year old boys in top flight games. We have already established that he has an alternative view of reality, but has he really forgotten that these 16 year old laddies pumped his invincibles 4-0 only a short time ago, with the young lad in question scoring on the day.

Brendan, please call the Samaritans. Help is available.

I see the clip from the Gallowgate is up online in the sun, it says watch moment man is hit by other man, blah blah blah.

Guy in taig top for all to see in the stills, nothing said about them.

Fight in city centre a few weeks ago and it's watch as huge rammy after Rangers v Wigan game even though not one bit of colours on show.

Funnily enough police scotland have no knowledge of this incident, well it's rite in front of you now so maybe you can have a look.

Maybe not as it's not got anything Red White and Blue or Loyalist or Rangers about it.

Seen last night on Sportscene they were bemoaning the lack of quality in kouassi(sp) and how tarriers let down brenda by not signing McGinn and how raw that CB they signed from Dundee was and that tarriers needed more experience in there.....well they clearly forget that brenda spent almost 5 mill on the pair of them!

The narrative he hasn't been back is bloody hilarious.

Rodgers has always been a manager who is better at working with what he has. It tends to start going wrong when he starts signing his own players.

A former celtic Football Club kit man was today sentenced to more than three years in prison for sexually abusing a boy in Belfast.

Jim McCafferty, 72, was found guilty of a series of sexual offences against the same teenage boy over a three-year period between 2012 and 2015.

He was sentenced to three years and nine months in prison.

McCafferty's links with celtic were more than 20 years ago. He also worked at Hibernian FC.

He was arrested in 2016 and later charged with eight sexual offences.

McCafferty moved to Northern Ireland after spending most of his working life in Scotland.

McCafferty, who was living in south Belfast, admitted abusing the teenage boy just before his trial was due to start in Belfast in May.

At a sentencing hearing today, Judge Patricia Smyth said the impact on his victim had been "significant".

McCafferty first confessed to abusing the boy after being approached by Daily Mirror journalist Jilly Beattie and photographer Alan Lewis in December 2016.

He initially pleaded not guilty but changed his mind on the morning of his trial in May 2018.

The court was told McCafferty had a number of serious health issues. He entered the dock with the aid of a walking frame.

Prime example is when Suarez was sold at Lpool and rather than get a few quality players generally spent money very poorly.

All over Sky Sports new now, "former celtic youth coach". Pleasing.

Few things kicking about my group chats about the upcoming Torbett trial coming up in November:

1) Scum have injunction on any newspaper using their name

2) They’re trying to change the boys clubs name to St Patrick’s in order to distance themselves

3) Over 100 witnesses have been asked to testify in relation to hush payments by the club

4) Due to incidents happening in America they’re being sued through the courts in US which will cost the club millions

5) Up to £70 million has been ring fenced for payments to victims

Is there not a team in Ireland called St Patrick’s? Can’t see them being to happy with that.
