This season was always bigger than last when it became clear CL groups was a guarantee. 
 
We have to win the league this season, it’s as simple as that, having all those players available gives us our best chance to do so. It wipes out the shortfall and puts us in the black and a massive position of strength where we probably only would move on 1 or 2 instead of losing the league and having to make up shortfalls all over the place

Rangers Football Club are leading the charge on the transition to an inclusive modern football club. They are taking the right approach. Condemning those within our support that refuse to acknowledge the societal shift while also highlighting that it is not a Glasgow Rangers problem but a societal problem.  
 
I say this as someone who is outraged by the hijacking of free speech and the dark path we are embarking on that essentially is Orwell’s thought police. The erosion of our fundamental freedoms on so many different fronts is appalling in my opinion. Aided and abetted by mock offended, fragile character, snowflakes with the enormous social media platforms to spout their perma-offended drivel to make up for the massive psychological hole in their miserable existence. 
 
But the club can’t take on that fight, it is not their place. They can set the standard of inclusivity and positivity that our current society requires and they can respond decisively when it’s supporters do not reach those standards.
 
The fact that there is such double standards allowed to persist is a different thing and is a function of the quality of government that has been elected. You get the government you deserve. 
 
The only path out of the current decline of society in UK generally and Scotland in particular is for people to become activists. Educate themselves, raise their level of influence in society, campaign for the politics they believe in. Get into positions of influence and control and change the narrative from the inside.
In Scotland the majority have been asleep at the wheel while those of differing and minority political views have been working tirelessly for decades to position themselves to be able to direct this one sided nonsense and be above reproach. This didn’t happen over night, it’s been encroaching over decades. And it will take decades of activism to undo. Sitting and whining about it on a forum will change fuck all and ignoring it and singing the naughty songs in defiance will only make it worse.
 
Make the change that society is demanding today and do something that moves you toward the society you want.
