Agree. It's become very simple for most teams in the SPL to sit in against Plan A. We should have a B and C up our sleeve surely?

They didn’t play us off the park. They got 2 early goals which meant they could sit back and were very organised.
We weren’t quick or good enough to break them down.
A result like this was going to happen soon enough to us given we concede first in basically every game.
We got what we deserved but it wasn’t due to Hibs dominating. I’d almost be happier if Hibs played us off the park and we all held our hands up but we were to blame being so lacklustre.

Hopefully not. Whole squad should be called into Auchenhowie for a double shift and addressed collectively and individually too. Yesterday's fiasco gives me real cause for concern. Last week, the big plus for Gio was the fact that he was walking into a settled squad, no need for an extensive rebuild. The goal posts moved on that one yesterday. I could sit here typing all day but would on a whole, simply be regurgitating what's been said in the past 12 hours, most of which was justified. This is a time for strong man management. Identify who's no longer fit for purpose, but equally, recognise what can be salvaged from SG squad. My one fear is that Patterson's already made his mind up, hence the lack of game time over the past while. I may be wrong on that one of course.

Don't know if anyone watches the training clips that Rangers put out on YouTube?
For some time, I've seen the same old routines done at a half arsed pace.
Add in a bit of player joviality, and for me it doesn't look good.
If this snapshot represents what thry have been doing at auchinhowie, then no wonder performances have been so turgid and lethargic.

I don't dismiss what he did last season. We were too dependent upon him for goals 2 seasons ago, which he delivered. Last season he put the team before himself and played a decent role in drawing defenders out and creating space for others to capitalise on. We got goals from all over the pitch.
This season he has done neither. He's an imposter.
I have never seen someone so obviously lacking in effort at any game I have attended in the last 35 years.
I don't see how we get him off the wage bill.

Every other team in SPL has young hungry players in the team every week while they are not internationalists they carry a dig and plenty of grit and drive.

    We have none of this

I get it tight on here for calling him out and have done for a long time. He's a serial looser like tavernier, both would be lower end championship players in England.
Balogun is 4th choice at best, he played for Wigan Athletic for a reason.
Helander back and build the defence round him.
The pretender at left back also, no idea how he made the Croatia squad there btw, David Robertson wud have a field day wi the cunt for his shitebaggery half hearted challenges.
Not 1 player in that defence would hurt themselves for the badge upon the Jersey.
Big bassey would be the who only willing to physically hurt himself for keeping out the opposition

Many thanks to @mearns loyal who once again has gone above and beyond.
Not only has he donated his 4 Hampden Tickets to the Erskine Veterans, he even took the time out to deliver them directly to Erskine!  What a trooper!

Takes me back this chat. We were average at best for the first part of the 80's, on paper decent squads, but with a strong challenge from Aberdeen and Dundee Utd, we were regularly finishing outside the top three. I'd talk myself out of going to our home games only to inevitably jump in the car at 2.35 and be parked up in the John Lawrence car park a couple of minutes before kick off. Never a queue, pay at the gate, and wander from West to East enclosure. We improved 85/86 and the following season I bought my first season ticket, 25 minutes from couch to enclosure no longer possible. I was skint back then, I remember paying for my season ticket with a Style card for a few years. Road to financial ruin for a while....

The attendances were often poor in the 70s as well, 15,000 and the like mid-season against the likes of Clydebank.  It got worse in the 80s partly because we were not so good on the park, but football in general was looked on poorly by a lot of the general public due to hooliganism and the grounds were often in poor nick, not Ibrox though.  I can remember Scottish Cup ties with Albion Rovers and Dumbarton in 1982 and the place seemed almost empty.  When Souness came you couldn't rely on just picking and choosing your games as there were quite a few matches where people got locked out, Hamilton in 1987 for instance - 5,000 locked out and Ibrox packed, and that was the start of large-scale season ticket buying.

He can have oor Kent. No problem at all.....
For £45 million or however much we won't make from the Champions league if he goes and therefore fail to win the league.  How about that.
